So basicly i got a idea for the story i am writing there is a system but it isn't randomly give shit (i mean it does but those skill have some flaws) it records the abilities of the user and counts them as skill, meaning one can't randomly get fire magic without talent for it and some practice, it may give some cliche skill, seven deadly sins skills etc-but they got flaws like gluttony makes the user consume more and more as the time goes and if they consume to much their body just explodes also the system doesn't have stat numbers there is a cultivation system which is simple... gathering the mana in your body it sounds simple and may sounds bad considering it is just gathering mana but the diffirence is (mana is stored in the chess part) the mana may break the body if the body isn't strong enough and by allowing the mana to wander inside the body makes the body stronger that way letting mana wander gives a better physical body and more mana (one may go above their body limit and release the mana back but that would mostly break the body too). the ranking for the stuff is simple: stars, once one starts gathering mana they become 1 star (1-2 star is achievable with just physical trainging if one doesn'T have talent for any magic [the body only absorb the mana of the attribute user has meaning one with fire attribute reaps more benefits cultivating near a volcana than a mountain]). the 10 star is considered ascension and to go a step further one has to strengthen their soul after that is god stars which is the same as the normal stars but harder because strengthing the soul is harder and more stuf
also the system may give titles to people like [element name here] emperor or (a lil spoiler) Reincarnated [element here] emperor (the reincarnated thing isn't reincarnation but don't mind)

now considering all that is it litrpg and any suggestions?

Is there game-like systems? Then it’s litRPG. If it weren’t for the titles thing your system would be more akin to the DBZ power scouter, but automatic titles definitely qualifies as game-like. Bit light if that’s all there is though.

the title thing depends mostly on stuff like legends: like if someone murdered some people and someone made a legend of that the murderer in question may get the name given to it as a title

recieving a title by the system itself is harder than gaining one from legends even a god may not have one from system but from a legend

Still, game elements => litRPG

Hey for titles what if the titles are give by actual people and if people know it like for example if a man calls you a the fire haired demon as you kill him in murder but dies before he tells someone it you won't get one but if say he writes it down or you do for people to read or say a little boy hiding saw everything and can get to someone and spreads you can get it.. so basically based on fameus/imfumes it is so more people know the more powerful it is but you won't lose it if people forget or weaken either

Yes it's like that but it's not like "powerful" having a title is just for intimidating and you won't lose a title until you die.

From Wikipedia:

Highlighted the essential part. Does your idea seem to align with this? Then it's LitRPG. Is it just a system? Then it's just a system novel.
Thank you. Considering the highlighted part it isn't a litrpg
