The main character is incapable of feeling love as, like, an emotion, but she might go through with a romance as a deception play. I've only read up to the end of volume 4 so I can't speak for the later volumes but as of EoV4 there is no romance, real or deceptive.

Twilight may be dull and stupid, but 50 Shades is literally dangerous because it shows its characters doing BDSM unsafely but presents it as if it were safe. That is, literally, dangerous, and could cause permanent physical and emotional harm if newcomers used 50 Shades as an example to follow.
