Update on the dental situation: an old amalgam filling fell out. No root canal necessary!

So after three weeks of writing a minimum of 4k words a week, of course I end up having a dental emergency of the "act now or lose half your jaw next month" variety. Yeeeesh.

Hoping to avoid a root canal so I can get a late update out, if nothing else.

Venturing out into Scottish late autumn at 6 AM, all because I can’t sleep and have the weirdest craving for custard doughnuts — the ones that are basically Berliners, but with custard and not jam.
