  • How is it possible that Honeyfeed doesn't have a schedule chapter function? And the way of uploading chapters is so backwards. I can't even embed images or put author notes inside. What the hell is going on there?

Checking the discord, it's been asked for and suggested a couple of times, but it seems like the admins just outright ignore it, or the devs simply can't implement it...

That doesn't excuse it from being able to implement scheduling...

Nah, I'm not making an excuse. And I'm also one of those who recommended it before, along with the feature of uploading images on the chapters (since my stories got a lot of illustrations).

I think Leo-san (the owner) just wanted HF to be a 'low-cost', 'low-maintenance' site for OELN authors.

Huh, okay. I guess I'm going to pull my novel off soon then.
you're not a popular author until you get a 0.5 star rating on your very first chapter...

Yeah, I didn't receive a lot of hate while I was there(mainly because I didn't write any of the popular stuff there) but the community was so toxic that I didn't want to stay. The forums were just awful for anyone asking questions and felt annoying to use.
Honest feedback is not the same as accurate feedback.

    Honest feedback:
"I don't really like the sci-fi genre as I never really read it before, but it would be great if you could tone down the explanation of technology and how it works. Honestly I don't care about the details and whether this is realistic - just get to the space battles."

Ma'am i think you're looking for space fantasy.

I see. I don’t know what accurate means so I had to ask.

I find that is explanations are required having it be a bit of QA dialogue tends to make it less of an info dump. Also, crafting a technology counts as action in my opinion.

I've also seen science fantasy novels where the author thought the (imo irrelevant) tech trivia added to the action core.
And if yours isn't action science fantasy I might want to take a look at your synopsis.
Broke through #2000 on royal road, now ranked #1855. Basically got there spamming review swaps, but its working!

Only got 39 followers, but hey, it's only been seven days since I got it up. Maybe half of them are reviewers, but as long as a dozen people reading I'll keep writing.

I think reviews are more important on royal road then here though. Somewhere I read a novel can't be on trending in Royal Road unless is has a certain number of reviews.

young tanned skin boy, but he's wearing a mechanical exosuit. He has a white buzzcut and amber yellow eyes, and is about twenty years old. His main weapon is a technologically advanced spear. His face has a few scars, along with blemishes of grease. The scene should be him dodging a large blue metallic fist from an enemy robot.

Ehhh. Most of google's results for buzzcuts are just like that, but less anime. I'd argue that a buzzcut should be the whole head and not just the sides, but arguing with a computer is boring after the novelty wears off.

Yea buzzcut should definitely be the whole head

He resembles Ekko with more armor and toned down haircut.
I've been writing my novel for a while, but the one thing I can't name right is a device that can sense emotions. It reacts based on intensity of emotions and provides the direction (e.g like a radar). Doesn't work in large crowds cuz, a lot of overwhelming noise.

The current name is the e-radar, but that sounds pretty lame. Any suggestions?
