  • According to your name are you a wolf? You're the second wolfgirl I know to be on this platform.

LOL! Ookami (wolf) Kasumi (mist/hidden), is a vague reference of my SCA* name: Morgan Faolin. Faolin meaning Wolf in Irish, and Morgan an Irish goddess of War, whic is a reference to my author name: Morgan Hawke.

On facebook I'm: Morgan Feylin, with Feylin being the pronunciation of Faolin, hiding the wolf reference --> Ookami Kasumi: Wolf in the Mist (in hiding).

*SCA: Society for Creative Anachronisms (sca.org) It's a living history group that does the Middle Ages. So yeah, I know when all those fantasy adventure writers mess up their medieval facts -- from battles and sword-fighting to manor household staff and royal hierarchy.
-- Clue: The Japanese get it Wrong because their noble hierarchy is very different from European.

Hello Kasumi, your tutorials are very intriguing. I wish I had stumbled on them sooner.
I have grown mostly on very small feedback and meagre advice research, mostly relying on my intuition and good sense to write my novels.

Still, better late than never. Even if time is sparse I will get to make a general review of all our tutorials and then see what I can apply/improve/modify on my novels.
Which stories on scribblehub do you think are memorable?

I find battle-manga type stories Boring. It's too easy to guess the plot. Once I can guess the plot, the story is over for me. I prefer twists and surprises in my stories. I am not so easily entertained as a high-schooler. (I left high-school a loooong time ago.)

I like battle manga style writing, but with any progression fantasy, the constant need to make things seem more powerful as they get more powerful gets kinda silly after a bit.

When someone can cut a planet in half with a sword it reads to me like "This is a silly waste of time"
Characters that have that level of power tend to be impossible to empathize with.

    Exactly!
-- When you have a character that can end the world, how do you end their story? It's not like they can settle down and farm!
-- Getting married is also out of the question. Seriously, would you try to sleep with someone that can shatter your bones if they hug you too tightly? Not me!

Yep That's me! I'm glad you liked my tutorials! Sadly, they're seriously out of date. I need to get back into game making.

I have 13 finished games, but they're all tiny.

The list of games is on the right.

How come no one's welcomed you yet, even though you've made several threads?
