The demi-humans who have human features are also favorably looked upon by the humans, so instead of being slaughtered, they are often sold into slavery.

Some of the hunter exam scenes make Vertis say "Man, Vertis wouldn't even make it to the exam site let alone, pass phase 1."
To fix this, for 333 days starting tomorrow, Vertis will develop the skills necessary to complete the hunter exam. For no other reason, but boredom.

Vertis hopes that one year from now, Vertis can look back at the prologue and fix it.
So far Vertis has read it atleast 5 times and found only a few issues.
