When a target understands the existence of such an evil being they realize they are dealing with their ultimate adversary. It's not like being a target of hatred; it goes beyond that. Since pure evil is unconditional, it doesn't discriminate based on emotion, so hatred dilutes rather than enhances by adding an unnecessary motive and effect.

Normality is way scarier. :blob_reach: The banality of evil is what should be truly feared and not sadism.

Normal household evil hits deep. Like oversalting your fried salmon, or untying your shoelaces, or tangling your earphones.

So many bad trivial things happen to you so often that you just can't feel safe no more and eventually, fall sick from the frustration.

I lost track of time a bit. I submitted my essay electronically.

It only said, "Time remaining: 52 seconds". :blob_hmm:

    Dicey.

It was insane. After that I felt like they should have just given me my degree because nothing I did afterwards would cause the same level of suffering and challenge.

You had 52 seconds remaining? So conservative. You need to submit it when there is less than 5 seconds remaining. And then have your internet be unstable for extra excitement.

Hmmm. You know when a shounen protagonist yells ike ( 行け ) in an anime. Like that. Essay!
Ehehehe. I've done it once again. I'm writing my essay on the day it's due. Surprisingly my previous essay was an A. I think all the writing I've been doing on SH has helped me improve my literary skills. I am not looking forward to the next 8 hours.

Plus, I don't know about others, but procrastinating used to help me focus more when I'm doing essays. BAD THING TO DO, but it's what helped me write better. It's like your forcing your brain to work at its utmost. Then again, that might just be me.

I just got that feeling. That special feeling when I realize, after hours of calculation, that my first answer was right. The number of people on Earth that could confidently tell me that the Coriolis force does not affect my Euler-Lagrange equations of motion for my system is how many?

I said to a friend, "This is the only social website I use." That is why I'm everywhere all the time here on scribblehub. I don't do facebook, twitter, youtube, instagram, snapchat, pinterest, or any of the others. Only scribblehub.

I also said, "You know what, it's f**king great too. I like this site and I like these people."
Does anyone have any anime/manga/LNs recommendations?
I've been feeling in the mood since I watched Vinland Saga and Re:Creators recently, but I'm not finding much particularly interesting these days.

    The ones I haven't read/watched,

    Toshokan Sensou/Library Wars
    Kuroko no Basuke
    Kingdom
    Gin no Saji
    Yami no Matsuei
    Tokyo Mew Mew

but that is quite the list. I place you at around 200-400 series watched. A guess.

Also, based on your personality type, do you keep your watched/read list on your local hard drive for backup? I would guess you do as well.
    Nahrenne

Hmm, I don't really know how many I've watched...and no I have none saved anywhere.
    '-'

The only thing I save on a list is the translated novels linked to NU - Novel Updates. I have a Reading list, a To Read list, a Dropped list and a Completed list saved on NU.

The only things saved on my laptop are my story, poems - both written by me and saved from other poets - and lots and lots of pics.

    I did a personality test.

Now that I think about it ... I do appear to be fairly introverted. I'll stay at home for days without talking to anyone else. I have no desire to meet new people in person. I hate every place on earth that is crowded and will actively try to leave. I have never wanted to go to any party in my entire life.

Okay. It's official. Vinland Saga manga is an amazing story in its scope and execution to cover Thorfinn's life from childhood, to a shounen boy out for revenge, to a seinen man who is ready to move forward from his blood-soaked past.

I also was reminded of the pure adventure and mystical nature of "Made in the Abyss". What kick-ass music resonating with my soul is this!

Okay. Terrible thing for me to say, but I don't like samurai stuff very much. I watched the Vinland Saga anime and thought it was amazing, but then I learned about what happens in the future of the manga and I was amazed.
Ahhh! What happened to my face?!

I hope you'll excuse my peccadillo in bothering you all, but I am still luxuriating in new vocabulary and felt like being wantonly meretricious.
So I spent a few hours improving my vocabulary by making a spelling list for myself. Writing definitions. I said to my friend, "Hey, I'm learning new words."

Friend: "You don't say new words. You say vocabulary terminology enhancement."

Yorda: "Your august presence has ameliorated my erroneous bedlam of a mouth ... and fuck you."

No, no, grammar is no problem. The meaning is just strange. The first part is positive the latter negative. :blob_reach: So, it either an insult or irony that has gone wrong.

    And I love over-analysing things. :blob_aww:
    binarysoap
    binarysoap
Wait, why is "The first part is positive the latter negative " a problem?
The positive part is praising the friend, and the negative part is insulting Yorda himself.

Juxtaposing an amalgamation of lexicon to evoke ironic humour is quite impressive, however the utilisation of expletive language after the ellipses is somewhat...disappointing.

I went for a blood test at my hospital, but I got the really, really new nurse to draw my blood. She dug around in both arms and failed to draw blood for quite a while. The experienced guy came over and drew my blood, but he fumbled a vial and dropped it on the floor so they had to draw more blood ... meanwhile there was a very pale-faced Yorda sitting down silently.

When you say *gives you a flapjack* you simply mean that you are giving me a pancake right? The edible kind. It's not a reference to something else right? It's not slang for something strange right? It's pure and innocent right?
    Nahrenne
    Nahrenne
    No?
I mean a flapjack as in oats, butter and golden syrup mixed together into nice, chewy goodness.
Why would I call a pancake a flapjack? They're two completely different things.
