Oreo is one of the lowest quality sweets I have ever had. I don't even know why is it so popular? The biscuit is dry and hard, while the creme is not enough to balance the biscuit...I won't even comment on dipping it in water.

@TheHermit That's cuz you been eatin it wrong your whole life. Oreo is not cookie, it is flavoring in ice cream.

Ready-made oreo ice cream is fine, but they sell it in the form of cookies as well. I doubt it is so that you can mix it with random-flavored ice cream yourself. If you gotta mix it with something else to make it edible then well, this speaks a lot about the quality of the product.
