Someone also brought up a good point. Considering how many read translations possibly without the author's permission, what makes one think their story would be respected in terms of not pirated too?
Just take it as free publicity. If it's a Chinese website like webnovel, you can prevent pirating by talking about taiwan, otherwise, there is quite nothing you can do.
Or even better, fill it with stinky rotten fish.
