I just got another idea... The Little Mermaid but it's a Sea vs Denmark war story. It ends with the political marriage between Ariel and What'shisFace(the one we don't jerk it to) as a peace treaty.
I ended my book. As in gave up on it. As in first person is a bitch for me to write and I will do a rewrite in 3rd pov since that is infinitely easier on my brain.
I did figure out what makes me slow down during writing beside the 1st person thing. It's character interactions. Got to make the world feel alive beside the descriptions. So at least there's that that I will focus on improving for time.
I'mma go balls in with a "just type and don't think" project. It will suck but I hope that I see where exactly I tend to slow down when writing.
I'm liking this experience. Better than the train wreck of my early middle school years.
It's not like I gave up on my writing. It's just been +39C all week long, my office license took a nose-dive because Mondo is a thing, and writing action is weird.
Finally got past the bottleneck I kept experiencing for ch.3. Completely side-stepped it and somehow managed to add the original idea back in in the end. Emotions are hard.
Time to sleep and worry about finishing it up tomorrow.
Might have adhd. Starting to realize after people have told me that it's not normal to be switching between reading 4 stories while watching a video as I game.
Path of Exile is amazing btw.
