What's reader-insert fanfiction?

@Nahrenne It's (fan)fiction written in second person, so that it's supposed to be the reader in the story instead of a character. Usually so you can pair yourself with your fave hotties.

Oh, so kind of like those animes where the character is talking to the camera as if they're talking to watcher?

Hmm...I see what you mean but the dialogue being chosen for the reader takes it out a bit.

It's not a perfect format by any means, but it's an interesting writing style. Really fun to use for cheap wish fulfillment and other interesting projects.

Mm...I suppose...
I think I'd personally privately erp with someone, though...

You need a second, willing player for that, though, and they might not live up to your ideals or be willing to play the other character the way you want. You'd also have to worry about living up to their expectations at the same time.

Sometimes you just want to be held in a strong lady's arms with minimum fuss, even at the cost of a few brain cells.

Plus it's not always used for smutty stuff. Second person has a lot of rarely tapped potential.

I see.

I could understand if it was like a choose your own adventure kind of thing.

Ah, also back to the topic of your initial post:
Is that because of risk of the reader being underage?

It is - I heard that they basically think it becomes child porn as soon as someone underaged reads it, but that's nuts. Not least because they no longer allow smutty content on their platform to begin with.
