Is donghua the Chinese equivalent for anime?
Um...I've heard from people who saw the donghua and not read the novel that they really enjoyed it.
Personally, I'd read the novel first and only look at the donghua to get a better picture of how everyone looked, as well as the environments.
They skipped so much and rushed through the plot in the donghua...
