Give me names for my Magic Academy novel.

Well, one name I used to use a lot but haven't in over a decade is Melenkurion (for an elf or half-elf). Rusty McNobleson for the MC (because it's the internet and you HAVE to have one of THOSE names on the internet... ) Mitch Wilde for the part demon doofus.

Give me names for my Magic Academy novel.

Ah... you have any ethnic leanings, like Asian sounding names only or NO Asian-sounding names?

Where's the line between magic and superpowers?

The RoleMaster RPG had Mentalism as a "path" of magic distinct from the other paths. And then the SpaceMaster setting had true psionics (and all were compatible ... aside from a few skills ... and even linked in ICE's Shadow World setting)

If you had to create your own rendition of a famous public domain work what would it look like?

The Hunting of the Snark as an epic Prose quest?

Get Isekai'd to Your Favourite Fictional World

Would probably have to be the universe of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and I'd just grab a towel and a bathrobe and see where it took me.

If you had to create your own rendition of a famous public domain work what would it look like?

Franz Kafka revisited The Tower of Babel a few times in short stories - one theorizing that the Great Wall of China was meant as the foundation for the SECOND Tower...

If you had to create your own rendition of a famous public domain work what would it look like?

I'd be more likely to insert public domain characters into existing stories than to rewrite old stories. Dracula, Alan Quatermain, Randolph Carter, Tarzan (Lord Graystoke), John Carter, Ayesha (She), Tom Brown (since Harry Flashman already got updated), Zorro, Lemuel Gulliver... Maybe do...

Where's the line between magic and superpowers?

You're talking the second edition of AD&D psionics, where you had to make Contact three times to be able to use abilities on someone other than yourself. The first edition only had a few disciplines and one combat maneuver that affected non-psionics (the Psionic Blast, which the Mind Flayers...

    Which is better?

Both - assuming you intend to release as webnovels and then sell as completed works. Break the story into shorter bits as webnovels, then edit them all together into a larger novel (or collate them as a collection if unrelated) when you go to publish

How do you Hook Readers in a Chapter?

No-kill glue traps baited with bacon seem to work.

A different kind of gamer ( fan fic request )

It sounds kind of like you could work well with a partner, kind of the way Chris Claremont and John Byrne did (they developed comic books by creating scenes, usually together, though sometimes either Claremont would write one out or Byrne would draw something alone that the other was inspired...

    Your Protagonist Swaps with You

Like I said, there's nothing wrong with her except in comparison to ... well, any of my leading ladies actually, at least in the stuff I've posted (though Carol is pretty much what my wife would have been in her late 20s if she hadn't had three kids and been preparing to divorce her first...

    Your Protagonist Swaps with You

Depends on which MC and which story. Kelly (Strange Awakening) is a marketing expert so would find a way to sell the story for money. Despite me being pretty useless as Sparrow. David (Between Worlds) ... would be a bit upset because, not that there's anything wrong with her but my wife would...

Feedback wanted on this new comedy LitRPG

What is the Uninspiring Name (or is this a throwback to one of the earlier RPGs, "Spawn of Fashan" that came with a map including locations like "North, Where Melvin Last Stood")? Kind of has the same vibe as Reborn as a Demon Hat | Scribble Hub

    To Enjoy Writing

I write to challenge myself or because a story pops in my head that DEMANDS to be told. If I challenge myself, it may be to "follow a trend, but only so far, and then go off and do something different" If a story just demands to be told, it can be anything, just something that wants, nay...
