Im curious at what others do to promote/advertise their story? Personally, I never actually advertise it outside of the kinda passive advertising I do by having a link to my story in my signature. Honestly im currently still focused on just improving my own skills as well as making my story...

its a good start, however i do recommend running this through a spellchecker and perhaps a grammar checker, or maybe finding someone to help edit it for you. Good luck with your story!

Fluff all the way! Romantic fluff makes my heart melt, but even platonic or familial fluff is amazing! Cute characters being wholesome will make me love a story 3000

Only think i can think of that could fit these standards is an autobiography? Specifically a biography from the life of someone who has had no romantic encounters, no dramatic events, and no sports I can write up a quick autobiography, should be boring enough to fit these "standards"

I think it would be useful if you could select words inside the chapter and have them link back to the glossary. This way if someone wants extra info, or if they perhaps forgot info given in past chapters, they could easily click a term they don't fully understand and get a glossary popup...

I think rescue arcs can be done well for sure, but I agree that they are often done really badly. Your example is one ive seen wayyy too many times where a strong character (almost always female it seems) is suddenly made weak so that some (probably male) hero can come and save them.
