    I would just have to drop it. In fact there was a story I quite liked on here that went that route just a few weeks ago, but now it might as well just not exist anymore.     I think just Lycan would be fine. I've seen Luperan used, and wolf-kin. I would avoid Lycanthrope, because that implies that the character has lycanthropy, which is the name of the infection that turns people into werewolves.

    I think there's an important distinction to be drawn between the different genres of yuri and lesbian romance, even if they get muddled on this site. Yuri in anime and Japanese novels is fundamentally intended for a male audience - it's written and directed to appeal to heterosexual male tastes...
