    1 chap author

I did this once. I'm not strong enough to write a story it seems, but at least I tried a few times. One day I'll do it though. I never lost this faith. Just not right now.

Genshin Impact just won player choice.

Or they should have their own category. Like, "ongoing games" or something.

Recommendations some human domestiction guide stories

There's this fic on AO3 called Arrangement by vanessa_cardui. Half smut, half psychological horror, those two mix extremely well. I hugely recommend if you're not too afraid to read it.

TikTok did that? And it wasn't fined to high hell and banned? Whaaaaat?

Shapeshifters that can take human appearances in fantasy novels

There's a good part of Everybody Loves Large Chests about doppelgangers who infiltrate society from the shadows.

Introverts vs extroverts: Who make the best protagonists?

An introvert can do that. I've got two examples in mind, Zorian from Mother of Learning, and Dr Dire from the Dire saga. They're introverted but that doesn’t mean they can't interact with friends and connect to them in interesting and exciting ways, it means they're more confortable alone and...

I'm not sure whether to continue my story with 'I' or my character's name.

Yeah, it's a question of reading flow isn't it? As a reader you get into a certain headspace and it doesn't work if the writing style isn't consistent.

Writing Prompt Who is your favorite, or least favorite, revolutionary and why?

Toussaint Louverture did a lot to fight against the reinstating of slavery but Napoleon disregarded a truce to capture him during negotiations.

You post was very informative, I'm glad you took the long route.

    Recommendations antivillains

That's arguably more interesting than the Star Wars we had, but in Canon (both Extended Universe and Disney's afaik) the Dark Side does corrupt. I'm not saying the Jedi were perfect mind you.

    Recommendations antivillains

I've never watched/read it but if I get it right? Yes. Exactly that. I'd say in Star Wars, Count Dooku half counts since he followed Palpatine because he was disgusted of the Republic's corruption. But then it's questionable because once you submit to the Dark Side no matter your reasons you...

    Recommendations antivillains

Well yes, but actually no. Take Doctor Doom, sometimes he saves the world but that never makes him the hero. It doesn't always make him the bad guy though. My favourite example is Doctor DIRE, she's doing all she does to save the world and make it a better place, honest, but if it requires her...

    Recommendations Multiverse that actually good

I liked Kill Them All quite a lot. Actually, I loved it. Good laughs, great hype, there was a much OPness at some points but at other times the enemies and problems were challenging. Synopsis: Taylor Hebert's father gets killed by the Empire 88, so she vows to kill them all. Her power gives her...

    Democracy in strength based world

Great, and then how do you build roads, schools, how do you finance research, the police, the firefighters, hospitals, and cultural works available for everyone? Taxes are necessary, how much taxes and what they finance is the questionable bit. Of course you can disagree, there are...

Every 'reborn as a nonhuman' webnovel

Research shows that cetaceans like dolphins and whales, and monkeys like chimpanzees, are very intelligent. Their cognition is different than ours, not necessarily inferior. I mean, it's probably inferior but not as much as we think it is. We lack the means to understand animals and thus we...

Is there a connection between drug use and writing?

Did you start writing before or after taking hydrocodone? How was your writing affected? What I'm wondering is, maybe your brain got used to hydrocodone and now you can't write without it? Or maybe it's not the case and the relationship between drug and writing is purely beneficial. Check out...

    Democracy in strength based world

I hear many of you dunking on democracy, but you should take a step back and wonder. Usually I guess you have to bear with the propaganda that democracy is here and it's perfect etc. So you have to take a hard stance against it I guess to compensate. But here you're in an echo chamber of people...

quirks of the (fantasy) novels of your country?s

In my country they love humour and playing with the language. In the past we were the peak of literature but I feel either we kind of lost it, or I'm just that ignorant of our modern literature.
