    Well they were able to convey how the MC's life was in S1-S4 but in S5, they suddenly pull this bootleg BERSERK mini arc along with the sadboi narrative. I get that the authors are trying to paint the MC is a realistic light but with the way, the story is moving. It feels so much forced.
