    Trolley problem. Just that.

If I don't pull the lever I can't be held responsible for whomever is about to die?

    Add A Polyamory Tag

I would also like a Polyamory tag. Bixsexual / pansexual works suffer from lacking this tag. I don't at all feel bad necro-ing this post, it needs to be said. There's a variety of romantic/sexual works still not properly tagged on the site and we could benefit from a few changes on that front...

Is it ok to pick up a dropped story?

Legally speaking, you'd not be fine to pick up that work. Despite the omnipresence of fanfiction in internet spaces, copyright is still an issue that you have to consider when making a sequel to an orphaned work. There's always the possibility that the writer returns to their work, or that their...

There is actually an answer, I can let you in on it from vtubing. You start a paypal business account. You set a different name the customers see when purchasing from you. A dedicated user/government can still get your name if they try, but you can delay that process. You MUST use your real name...

    Age Gap Question

Age is not something that people should treat as an 'obstacle', because the word implies it can or should be overcome. Age is a hard barrier. If one partner is a child, one is an adult, and there's not more than a 2 year difference (16yr dating 18yr is fine, 17yr dating 19yr is fine, 20yr dating...

Readers want you to "change" your story.

I think this has a lot to do with authors not planning a broader arc than it does with actual writing quality. They finish their story they set out to finish, or get agonizingly close, then they add lots of padding to fill it out.

Readers want you to "change" your story.

I mean Stonelight is known for requesting stories go a specific way, if they're the one in particular suggesting you rewrite things. I tend to treat my readers as nothing more than inspiration when they bring cool insight to the table.

Good and Bad Things about new Webnovel's Readers (My Experience)

I know! (counts up to one) It's crazy. I'm surprised that Tony can handle all this.

Good and Bad Things about new Webnovel's Readers (My Experience)

I'm pretty sure if there are troll/toxic reviews you can report them for spam on ScribbleHub. That's something a little different from a website like Webnovel. However, I've reported forum users for dropping the N-word in this forum, and nothing was done about them, so... it's not a 100% chance...

    Resolved Chapter Scrollbar Bug

https://www.scribblehub.com/read/544751-dont-get-it-tangled/chapter/565312/ is having some wild issues, my browser added a scroll bar inside the text. No idea what to do about it? Could I get some technical help?

Does having a high [Chapter per Week] bury your story?

Not entirely true. I released 5 chapters of Don't Get It Tangled!!! in a single day, 20 minutes apart; it drops you on the front page and bumps you. You can only be buried by other authors posting.

Book covers --- Artists are obsolete

I don't see AI replacing all artists. The designs here are impressive but not distinctive or marketable; they leave zero impressions on the viewer; a good cover will require not only a pretty background but days of back and forth, typesetting, and, as someone else mentioned, style. With how...

How long will Scribble Hub lasts?

I am somewhat curious about what contingency plans Tony has for unforeseen accidents. He's the only admin and moderator on the site. Is there a chain of command in the case of his being hospitalized? Or will new stories remain in limbo indefinitely, unable to be checked?

Reading webnovels cause serious allergies, especially Chinese novels

If you ARE writing a cultivation novel, you can just do what I did and honestly translate their names into English. When you translate 'xiao bai' it doesn't become 'Mark' in English, but 'Noob'. Chinese names become things like Victorious, Happy Money, Strong Horse and Treasure. When you read...

Alright! I'll try this for now. Even if the text editor for the glossary isn't very good, I can at least accomplish my goals here.
