Welp, what it says on the tin.

This had been an idea of mine since forevah but hadn’t had the time to execute one so, why don’t you try?

Terms:
Fanfic - do I really have to—fine, it’s a work of fiction made by a fan usually in tribute of a favorite author’s work. Fanfic authors can create their own characters (OC) or make use of existing characters of the work.

Canon - the original work, the undeniable truth! Since the author is the law so what the author writes is the law.

  • Canonverse = author’s written universe (not the fanfic author’s)
  • Canon characters = author’s characters
P.S. Pure conjecture on my part but anyone is welcome to correct me.
P.P.S. I know this isn’t how a proper prompt should be but oh well, let’s have fun

When I realized my situation, I decided to redirect the story, I mean fate, to suit my story. Less bullshit, faster world peace.

In the canon, i don't like the mentors and the Hero. As someone who teach the Hero his fight skills, why didn't they fight the Demon Lord too? As someone worshipped by everyone, why did he act like a lackey? And the hero even died to kill the Demon Lord!

In my fanfic, the mentors helped the hero and defeated the Demon Lord, no one died. The hero also lost his virginity, created a harem, and live like a king.

-----
"You're strong, you should go fight the Demon King," I said to the sword mentor. I expected some replies; lazy, arrogant, anything but this.

He got a panic attack.
His wife politely kicked me out.

I didn't know he has PTSD.
I didn't know even the word Demon King is a trigger for him.

It wasn't written in the novel.

-----
"You're strong, why don't you fight the demon king?" I asked the magic mentor.

She did, long ago.

She left the kingdom to fight.
The kingdom's barriers can't hold on without her.
People panicked without her protection.
There were numerous deaths, both by human and demons.

People doesn't want her to leave again, and they'll make sure of that.
They have her children.
She may never leave this kingdom.

I didn't know that.
It wasn't written in the novel.

-----
"Why?" I said to the last mentor, a potion master.

He didn't answer me. He cannot.
He died.

I didn't know he was sick.
I didn't know why he become obsessed with potions, with medicines

It wasn't written in the novel.

-----
"This is humanity's traitor," the king presented me to the people. "The one who tried to take away God's blessings from the hero!"

I didn't mean to.
I didn't know.

I didn't know the God only give blessings to virgins, that's why the Hero should stay virgin.
I didn't know everyone from the Hero's Party must practice sexual abstinence.
I didn't know the only way to kill the Demon Lord is to 'baptize' him with 'holy wine'—the Hero's blood.

I didn't know all of this.

And now i know.

"What a shitty story," I thought as my vision turns dark.

Wow! I love it! And here I thought no one gets the prompt!
