The story starts off with an introduction to the demon king and what's going on around the world he/she resides in.
Next talk about how the demon king defeated the hero and is about to invade the kingdom of humanity.
At this point, talk about how the demon king is sick of his curse, then describe what curse it is.
Curse can be anything:
Example:
Stuck forever in a suit of armor that makes the user Invincible but can't consume anything or do anything that required a naked body.
Have to bathe 40 times a day and if he doesn't he will feel intense pain every 2 minutes.
A voice inside his head constantly mocks him for every single little detail of their life, even if he trips on a rock or burped.
Always die at 12pm and revive at 12 am, lost partial memory.
Lastly, you talk about the demon king sneak out of his castle and abandon the demonic kingdom, traveling the world to cure the curse, or it can be dimensional travel too.
