"Good idea, but it might be a female stalker, for all I know. People can be weird."

As she pointed that out, Vicious coughed slightly.

"Then again, if someone's managing to stay out of my detection range, then maybe I should just settle down and retire, heh."

Leaping to her feet, she stretched, working the sleep out of her joints.

"Well, I better go see what tasks are available today. Something sinister is stirring, and I'm not waiting for it to happen."
"If you need help, just ask someone from the guild. They are good people and will gladly aid you."

He smiled and planned to escort this girl to the building, then he heard his stomach growling quietly. Maybe I'll grab some food around here first.

"I need to eat something before going to guild. Well, See you around."

He stood up and walked away in a different direction.

A Dangerous Weapon For A Vicious Girl (CLOSED / @Bochi @Epsil)

Sitting at the corner of a tavern, Vicious had her empty shotgun lying on the table in front of her, and as she stared at it she sighed. She really needed a proper weapon, before the gun broke with her crude methods of handling it. In fact, she already had an idea in mind.

But the market didn't sell the item she was looking for, and the things that fit into the rough category of what she was looking for wasn't strong or durable enough for her usage.

That leaves commissioning...I need a blacksmith to forge a new one for me. But where do I find blacksmiths...?

Walking through the tavern doors, Adsall shambled his way into the tavern.
"One meal please.", Adsall groaned.
He took a seat next to a gruff looking white haired girl.
"God adventuring is tiring, and there are barely any quests that requires a craftsmans touch.", Adsall sulkingly murmered.
Suddenly, he felt a hand grasp tightly on his shoulder
"Hey, you said you're a craftsman right? Do you do blacksmithing?"

Even as she continued mumbling, the girl was staring with great expectancy, a light glinting in her irises.

The girl replied immediately, almost as if she had gone over it many times before.

"Bludgeoning weapon, mostly similar to a mace. But instead of a pole with a ball on top, it looks more like a pole that gradually thickens from one end to the other. Something like this."

Vicious produced pen and ink, and made a rough drawing of a baseball bat. Except that the top was hollowed out like a bar mace, and the handle was extended longer than the average bat.

"Long enough to swing with both hands, but short enough to use with one hand. Main emphasis is on durability, and I don't mind if it turns out heavier."

She slid the paper over for the blacksmith to have a look.

"Hmmm... A big weaponised pestle?". Adsall pondered over the drawing.
"I think I can make this, but it needs to be modified a bit. The shape is similar to a pestle so it should be easy. It's going to be mainly hollow as It'd be too heavy for you. It'll affect the durability a bit but It should be fine it I just use some reinforced iron and make the giant pestle. The cost would be around 95G due to the amount of Iron I'd need to use (40G), A pass to use the guild smith (10G) and my payment (55G). It is pretty expensive, but I can guarantee that this bat will be light ,strong and durable. So do we have a deal?"

The girl was already counting out payment, but stopped as another idea came to her.

"Will carving some letters onto the surface affect the durability too much? If not, could you carve my name into the handle when it's done?"

There was no way to hide the visible excitement.

"...Ah. My bad."

The girl lightly smacked her cheeks to quell her silly smile, before reaching out a hand. She also pushed the bag of coins meant for the payment of the job to him with her other free hand.

"Vicious. Nice to meet you, Mister Adsall. Here's to happy future collaboration."

"I appreciate the thought, Mister Adsall, but that's alright. This jacket holds quite a lot of sentimental value to me, and I'd like to keep it in it's original form if possible. Still, you have a point..."

Vicious rubbed the corners of the jacket fondly, thinking about happier times.

"How much would it cost to make a replica of this jacket?"

"Now that i see the material and the color and the patterns, I don't think It's possible to make a replica of it, I don't think I can even patch it up. The leather used seems to be of a really good quality as tarnished as it is. The semi-faded dyes seem to have been from a dye thats not commonly sold here. The patterns on the leather jacket are also really fine, I'd need better equipment to make something like this. Sorry."

Baihua's Shrine (Closed | Okarin (@ohko), Baihua (@Moshi))

"I hope you don't mind if I bring - this slime?"

"Not at all." Baihua replied. "You can bring whatever you like on the trip."

As they set out from the city, Okarin spoke up again. "Um... about that night when we met..."

Baihua turned to his small companion. That night had been pretty interesting, though slightly embarrassing for him - he had caused someone to fall off a wall, after all.

He supposed he should reflect on it. If the one who had fallen had been a human, then they would have died. Actually, he realized that he hadn't apologized for that incident yet.

He awkwardly scratched the back of his neck as he thought about what to say. "Sorry about that... I didn't know you'd react like that."
Baihua's Shrine (Closed | Okarin (@ohko), Baihua (@Moshi))

Okarin shook their head in response.

"N-No! It's not your fault!" They were visibly awkward. "I should have been paying more attention."

The slime person continued to keep pace with their companion as they walked. The herb slime in Okarin's arms continued to wiggle restlessly.

"I was just embarrassed... that's all. I mean, it's not weird is it? ...To be able to turn into a puddle?"

"I just didn't want ruin everyone's first impression of me."

Okarin smiled wryly. Currently, nearly everyone in the city probably saw them as the crazy psycho hippie slime-hugging maniac.

They wished it was possible to close their eyes and be normal... and... human... not a slime.

They wondered how Baihua had been doing these first couple of weeks. Had it been similarly crazy as their own?

OOC: ...are you trying to make the fox x slime ship sail? I'd gladly oblige, but I'm bad at writing that kind of stuff.
:blobrofl: I'll go with whatever you'd like and anything you're comfortable with!

"That's fine. I'll just have to be careful not to mess it up until I can find some alternatives...hehe. Thanks for answering seriously, though."

The girl got up from her seat, picking up her shotgun...

*Crack*

"Ow! See you later, mister."

Holding her shoulder with one hand, she went back upstairs.

"I just didn't want ruin everyone's first impression of me," the slimeperson said. It seemed like just being 'weird' wasn't the only thing they were worried about, though Baihua couldn't really understand it.

"Even if you don't make a great first impression, there's always your second, and your third, and all those other moments. Don't think too hard about it."

Even though he was just saying his own thoughts, it seemed like Okarin was reassured by his words.

"Were you that worried about it?" Baihua wasn't very good at reading people, so he wouldn't know unless he asked.

"I..." Okarin hesitated for a moment, squeezing Green Slime more tightly in their arms.

They weren't sure if they should blurt out all of their thoughts. Everything that they had gone through the past few weeks... watching slimes constantly being slaughtered all around the city... almost dying in the swamp... needing to shrink to their miniature form... feeling so vulnerable... that experience at the city temple...

Okarin shook their head back and forth, trying to clear their thoughts.

They were supposed to be an optimistic person! Fun! Social! Outgoing! Okarin wanted to bring sunshine to people's days!

How... did they suddenly become so insecure...?

"...never mind. It's nothing important."

They shoved those thoughts somewhere else where they didn't need to think about it.

Okarin's eyes suddenly brightened and they hopped in front of Baihua. They spoke while walking backwards.

"Enough about me! Tell me about you! What was your first week like here? Are you having fun?"

Baihua could tell that they was avoiding the question, since their response didn't answer his questions at all. He decided not to press though, since the slimeperson had already leapt ahead and changed the topic.

"Enough about me! Tell me about you! What was your first week like here? Are you having fun?" Okarin asked.

"My first week?" Baihua paused, thinking back on the day he arrived. "Well, the city was pretty new to me. I had been born and raised in a shrine in the woods, so I was never exposed to that kind of thing. For the first few days, I just spent my time exploring it. It was fun~ the different foods and people were all interesting."

Somewhat jokingly, he added, "Maybe someday we can spend a day like that, just wandering the city together and enjoying ourselves~"

The cynical side of Okarin's brain remarked causticly at their own enthusiasm, but Okarin shoved it aside.
