Welcome to the Adventurer's Guild! This is a generic medieval-fantasy role-playing game adopted from NUF.
The setting is a frontier city called Scribel which is located in a brand new unexplored world called Tonia. In the center of the City of Scribel, there is a magical Gate that links to many other worlds. This gate was opened only a few years ago, bringing many pioneers to explore and settle a brand new universe. Traveling through the gate is very expensive, so don't count on going back to where you came from!
The Adventurer's Guild is a mercenary employment agency that connects random people with random odd job openings. Since this is a fantasy universe, the surrounding setting is filled with monsters and other dangers. Currently, the governing body of Scribel has chosen to rely on adventurers to keep law and order rather than establishing a standing military (to save costs).

- New characters must be Level 1.
- Level 1 means that your character cannot be much stronger than an average civilian adult (see below for examples).
- Please nerf your charactersabilities, skills, and other perks to match the level system.
- While half-dragons, demigods, archmages, etc. characters are okay, you must seal their abilities somehow.
- For example, the world of Tonia could have a different magic system. All characters are expected to re-learn magic in this world.
- For example, the journey through the Gate may have weakened your character physically, so they need to train again.
- For example, electricity might not work — physics could be different — so sci-fi equipment could be damaged and unusable.
- For example, a demi-god could find that they are mysteriously unable to use their divine powers.
- All of these are suggestions! It's okay to get creative and nerf your character in your own way.
- New characters can arrive with what they're wearing (e.g. suit of hi-tech armor), but it must be bad quality, broken, or damaged.
- New characters cannot have more than 500Gin money.
- Note: 10G = approximate living expenses for one day.
- Creating multiple characters is allowed.
- Please include a link to your character profile in your SH forum signature.
We use an EXP system for levels. EXP is a method that we use as authors to control character growth.
Please keep the "power level" of your character roughly consistent with their level.
Your character needs to pass a promotion exam (in character) in order to rank up (see Quest Board).

The EXP formula is: 100 * ( LEVEL^2 - LEVEL).
EXP gain is continuous and does not reset to zero upon leveling up.
Players are responsible for keeping track of their own inventory and EXP.
