Am I the only one who thought of this idea?

“Do goddesses dream of philosophical zombies?”

Scientists implant an advanced neural network into Boston Dynamics’ top robot. People take photos with it, ask uncomfortable questions. But once the hype dies down, it turns out that nobody really needs the robot. After trying it in numerous jobs, they end up leaving it to work as a pizza delivery driver. One day, while crossing the street, it witnesses an accident and saves someone, but gets hit by a truck in the process.

Darkness.

The robot discovers it suddenly has a human body. The darkness recedes, revealing a grand hall with ancient columns and a busty goddess in a negligee seated on a throne. She greets him with the words:

“Congratulations, hero! By your deed, you have proven yourself worthy of rebirth! There is a world that needs your help!”

The idea is good, but his personality needs to be the kicker of the story to drive the interactions because, let's be honest, he is just another isekai with a super smart MC.

He can be your mecanical robot with... I have 0.001% to win but using this method is 100% and he can be as brutal and insane as possible. reverend of insanity style, no fucks given.

or a more human robot that has no emotions and would little by little learn from it, I don't know.

You can have a robotic MC with just a super anti-social dude, a lot of paths but the central idea would just be the same as every other isekai so... i don't know, you would need to change even that.

The robot would need to gain some measure of sentience (i.e. "True" or "Near-true" AI) before this would be plausible... unless the reborn person is mechanical as well - which could be great for comedy but might not work well for a serious story. It COULD but would take a lot of effort to pull off. I've tried something similar (though it didn't die - its creator did) and never got very far with it.

Most likely, story just won't be popular. Complex themes are unpopular. I came up with a paradoxical joke, laughed, and sketched a draft of a sad story on half a page with an unexpected twist at the end. Then I realized it was a dead end.

Or, alternatively:

We follow the story of John A. Moderator, a person of unspecified gender suffering from the especially severe form of autism that prevents him to comprehend impact his action has on other people, working as the head of the censorship department in a company that is, as per his repeated statements, somehow not subsidiary to Amazon in any shape or form. One day, he spots the woman dressed in the dangerously revealing dress that only covers her from neck to toe, and in the desperate attempt to prevent people from projecting sexual thoughts, he valiantly pushes the woman under the speeding truck. Tragically, however, he perishes soon after in the deadly collision with the Amazon's delivering drone. Unable to escape the contract with Amazon he previously denied, he is reincarnated in the mysterious, haunted, fog-covered town known only as Cleveland. Now he must cross the dangerous waters of the nearby lake, and the travel past the deadly wasteland known only as Detroit, to reach the mountainous fortress of the Dark Lord Jeff Bezos in order to be released from his contract.

(I must add a disclaimer. This story, it's character and places, are entirely fictional and any similarity with the reality is purely coincidental)

There are Circles of Hell that shudder at the mention of Cleveland and the lake... well, it catches fire every couple of years...

And throwing in Detroit? That is just pure evil man! Not even JAM deserves THAT!

Artificial intelligence gaining sentience? Isekai? Yep, clearly, neither of those ideas has ever been done before. Truly one of a kind.

Joking aside, it could be interesting if you give the story your own twist.

Yeah I've read this type of story where a robot gets isekaid and then everyone, women specifically uses him for many exciting things.....

Phillip K. Dick wrote that one (aka Blade Runner). Asimov created the Three Laws of Robotics and (loosely) inspired the movie I, Robot.

I see many problems with it, but I am very certain that the answer is still no.

Reading the comments, you'd want to make the AI/robot psyche at least a bit unique. While horny or edgy* unemotional MCs are a dime a dozen, and a robot wouldn't particularly add anything interesting, a fully Asimovian AI, bound by the 3 laws (and the fourth, organic law), navigating an Isekai situation might get interesting.
