Block Comments for certain chapters

Maybe have a handy toggle button (for an author) to press which can disable the comments section for a chapter?

This can help stop some questionably arguable topics that may be brought up in a specific novel's comments section.

Also, I know that the mods are here for that, but sometimes they may be a bit too late to stop the fire that may rage. I really wanna read chapter 140—*cough* about Shun *cough* without the questionable comments that were made about it in even the notic— *cough*.

So, just a way to dampen a fire before it leaves a wasteland behind.

Ai-chan doesn't think it's a bad idea. Some authors are more sensitive than others. To these people, getting harsh criticism brings them down and makes them lose motivation. Some authors just want to share and doesn't care that their stuff won't be accepted. For such authors, having such toggles would be good. They can keep writing and ignore all the negativity.

Let's face it, we do have some SJWs who do attack authors who don't conform to their point of view or upbringing. Ai-chan won't mention who. To some authors, having no comment is better than being attacked by these people.

You can probably argue that such comments can be moderated through reporting them. Unfortunately, for it to be moderated, it must first exist. By that time, it is too late. The comment has already done its damage on the author. So by having this toggle, the author basically ensures he won't be attacked at the cost of getting no comment at all.
