I just published a book yet the word count hasn’t updated only the chapter. It also isn’t even on latest novels too.

You know, there should have been a short notice after hitting the publish button. New books are manually approved and only then will appear in the latest novel section.
There is no given schedule for when novels are approved. Give it 24h.

Stats should be correctly shown when your book got approved.
