1. brick is actually egg of rock creature
2. golem/mimic
3. perhaps something abstract. If bricks can be considered building blocks, perhaps it becomes the building block to something else.

Well you could do a few things, you could,
A: Have its traits reinforced so it will be sturdier, have more fire resistance, greater weight ect..
B: Have it become more abstract, E.g become the idea of a brick or sturdiness ect..
C: Have it chance into something resembling it, E.g into a massive hewn stone then a mountain, into a wall then a building ect...
D: Add other traits, E.g make it sentient, give it legs (like whomp in mario) ect..
E: Just make it bigger.
