IIRC referrer typically means "where you came from"
the primary purpose of this seems to be figuring out where your readers have been coming from.
Hopefully it doesn't track your own reads as well, as the author!

It really is. I know a couple writers for whom that tag brings the most for them, relative to other tags. For me, it's mind control.I guess the yandere tag is overpowered.
