I have decided to generate another mini-series for my main project, about 8 chapters long. Problem is, I cannot come close to a Title for this section.
Description (without spoilers):

7 years into the past, a passionate magic wielder discovers the government’s greatest secret regarding lunar magic, and is subsequently murdered, by a separate party crossing the same secret. With her death covered up, the enemies who wish to turn the world on its head stay in the shadows, focusing on researching lost relics of the past, anything that would help make use of the ultimate discovery. An underground facility will be needed to run tests on the magic system. Those protecting Leray magic do not know about the dangers lurking in their backyard. In time, the grand debut of the Scarlets will be ready, even if it takes years.

Edit: Most of the chapters involves the Scarlets searching for key information using lost relics and old trails of legends and fables, and struggle to learn anything from it. Consider this extra context.

___

my mind is blank on title ideas for this miniseries. Any ideas?

Lunatic Scarlets? Bloodmoon-touched?

"Roses are red, the moon is now too. People are dead, and so will you"?

No... Sorry I'm not feeling that these fit.
It would also be too similar to the next segment past it, titles Scarlet Warfare. I want to keep Scarlet out of the namesake entirely.
Maybe it should be themed closer to Yuel, who I've decided will fight with a modified magic staff that acts as an electric guitar. Magic and music at the same time.

what's up with that trend? have seen tons of books with magic musicians and magical bards recently.

Lunared
Bloody Luna
The Maroon Moon
Rufescent Resistance

Is it a trend? In any case it is only for a chapter. I'm hoping to make Yuel a badass before things get dark.

Hm... Celestial Instruments
Celestial Secrets

Wonder if that sounds good...?

okay listen up this is what you need to do if you want to get clicks on SH. This is most common on trash isekai shlock, but there’s not reason for it not to work on something with more substance.

1. Mc/novel description title. Basically a mini synopsis as a title. example “Warehouse worker! In another world with my forklift.”
3. Question as title. The question should be a thinly veiled version of option one. “Is the main heroine really a war criminal?”

Yeah these titles suck, and you won’t be taken seriously anywhere outside of SH and other web novel sites, but if you want people to see your stuff on SH this is the way to go

I disagree with this strat, mainly because I do not write isekai. Would I get "clicks?" sure. But it is analogous to inviting people to a specific area only to pull the rug under their feet and display something nobody asked for.

I understand that if anything can be taken from the idea here, it is possible simplicity in a title ~ I'll give you that.
Point is, people coming here only for isekai are not presently my readers anyway. If the stats are not going to reflect actual readers, potential or future, I won't care about such stats in the first place.

As I said prior this naming scheme is most commonly associated with isekai, but that doesn’t mean it’s in effective for anything else.

I can personally attest to this. I used a similar name scheme for my first ever SH novel, which was a low magic dark fantasy setting with no isekai. I was able to get pretty good traction on the novel, especially considering I originally uploaded with no cover, my writing wasn’t very good, and I uploaded the novel three years ago when SH user base was much smaller.

And what was the reader/views ratio, if I may inquire?

I can’t give accurate data because the novel has been posted for 3 years now, and despite being abandoned still generates some views and readers.

What I can say, is all the feedback I received was positive, and no one said they felt it was like a rug pull. The views to readers was pretty good for the first chapter, but quickly fell off, though I’d mostly attribute it to the fact that it was my first ever attempted at creative writing and not very good.

I'm not one who can really argue with data. That said, I am still against it personally. Maybe it's only because it isn't my style to use an isekai style chapter for a book with such a serious tone. In fact, I'm sure that's the reason. It may also be because of all the genres on SH, Webnovel, and others, isekai is still relatively very popular, regardless of titles. The higher reader count could simply be a misattribution of a popular genre trend.
