The end of the Adventum contest is nearing and it's time for another suggestion thread! Suggest down below theme that will be considered for the next contest which would happen a month after Adventum contest ends.

The second suggestion is eldritch horror

Because it's going to be spooky season:

Horror theme, because it's a genre that isn't too popular but seems to have plenty of people wishing for more of. Bonus points for eldritch horror because tentacles.

-dere theme, because we're still full of weebs here and every loves their -dere types. The story would have to revolve around a character who fits one of the standard -dere types. Bonus points for yandere because it's going to be spooky season.

Dramatic personality theme. This one is a bit harder to explain. Originally on the Discord server, I suggested a chuuni theme. But because that might be a bit limiting, it could be expanded to super dramatic personalities in general. Like taking a character type and pumping it up to an unrealistic and silly extreme. Chuuni is still the most fitting, though, because they're all about dat darkness and it's going to be spooky season.

-Your life if you suddenly loss one of the five senses?
-(Somehow) Everyone now knows their month of death (Not day or year, just month)

Oooh how about one person's five sense gain a unique ability per person.
Eyes can detect lies with the liar growing a long horn in their eye only.
Someone can have a sense of smell that smell sweet and sweeter if a persons death is at hand.
A person's sense of touch can tell when an object was last touch no matter how much time has past.
Taste can be sour and more sour when they sense they will be able to win something.

How about an undead protagonist theme?
E.g. skeleton, zombie, ghost etc.
Doesn't have to be reincarnated / isekai. Can be a fantasy / modern fantasy as well.

Other than that, I would say... dark, dystopian setting where it's every men/women for themselves.
An everyday "Kill or be killed" situation.

- Lovecraftian style horror
- Zombie MC who never becomes human again
- Werewolves/Witches/Vampires/Ghosts main part of story
- Apocalypse/post-apocalypse setting


Those are some ideas, so far.
