Theme Idea: The bunkers are opening, you are free!

The apocalypse is ending, and you are returning to the surface of the world, what do they find, and what do they do? You need to describe how life was in the shelter and what they were running from. The focus though, needs to be on what they plan to do.

Pros: This has near infinite possibilities, and would make a great opening chapter. This shelter could be anywhere, and the characters can be anything. This can be as dark or as uplifting as you want it.

Cons: I really don't think this is done that much, not if you are coming out with a group of people. They always like the lone protagonist feel.
