Is this ... like some kind of challenge? :blobrofl:
My guess is it took 2-3 hours to write this!

I will continue my reading tomorrow. :blob_salute:
Hmmm. I understand.

5 days from now you will be summoned to a world where reading and challenges have combined to form Rallenges. Competitive reading is at peak and you must earn money quickly before facing dire consequences.

Good luck.

I'm sorry but calling yourself a "2-year Rallenge Champion" is just a surefire way to get you bullied in school

At some point, specifically at 22 Yorda (where there are 1760 Yorda to a smile), this thread went meta (if I am understanding what meta means correctly).

Maybe I am lucky. I'm not always wrong after all.

In conclusion, my life consists of eating and sleeping and everything else in between.

A hyper-realistic fantasy full-dive VRMMO game that allows freedom (unlimited build = create your own unique class and build.) and realistic life that it gives a feeling of "second home".

My ideal game:

I can play it in my mind

When I play the game, the world becomes slower, so it won't take much time

One game for all genres: dating sim, eldritch horror, fighting, adventure, mystery, outer gods, blabla

it can produce money just by playing it

in fact, why the world hasn't changed into the game-based system yet?

I was just perusing the forum when I came across this little gem lol. I know I am super late but it's a fun question that anyone can answer. I thought what you said as an extra tidbit was very very true c:

For me, it would for sure be set in a fantasy world, primarily set inside one kingdom, or empire. I would want my game to be as open-minded as possible, meaning:
- the option for romance, and LGBTQ+ friendly, with lots of choices
- i want to spend forever making my avatar. lots of skin colors, body shapes, hairstyles, clothing and personality style, all that good stuff
- gender roles do not exist/lots of empowerment
- things similar to that

of course beautiful and artistic graphics and a story that changes depending on the choices you make (but I'm also a sucker for a happy ending :') ). a very good and enjoyable plot that I can relate myself to and not mind playing it for hours. I'd also love lots of lore but not so much it gets overwhelming.

games I've enjoyed a lot that share most of these features are games like horizon zero dawn and the last guardian. TLDR; games I can cry about.

Open-world Pikmin sequel that is a hybrid RTS/platformer collectathon/4X game. Vaguely idiotic, but at the same time it is exactly the game that I would play for approximately six hundred hours, especially if it had a competitve multiplayer mode. Specifically it's gotta be Pikmin and its wonderful aesthetic, and specifically it's gotta have platforming/exploration elements.

I think I may have just described Chibi-Robo but with RTS elements, which scares me but I'm okay with. A new Battalion Wars that has open-ended campaigns would also be pretty amazing, though not quite a dream game. The needless depth of Gotcha Force or the bizarre humor of Ribbit King would be welcome in any dream game of mine, though. Mostly what I'm trying to say is that I'm old now and all I care to do is play my Gamecube. I just want Gamecube games but with modern sensibilities.

The perfect game is described in the draft I made for a single player isekai RPG. I'm slowly building it on Corona Simulator in lua, but I can't really code lol. It will have a weird new type of custom 2D (2.7D?) graphics, fully open world, with realistic full sized cities. Let me share some of the game features idea draft (temporary). It's long. And that's some of the game features, not the setting, overall story (that you can totally ignore because it's events that happen by themselves), characters, world size ambition (multiple continents), number of races, etc...

Difficulty settings:
-Divine Blessing (save/load ON, received ally damage lessened, rolls have +1 in your favor, fatal blows cancelled every week)
-Normal (save/load ON)
-Realistic (save marked hardcore, save on exit only, lower global HP)

Player special ability/cheats (last priority): Choose one at startup: (Obvious references here, but wouldn't it be fun?)
-Reincarnation into a newborn noble (only into Kair Li Flanel)
-CHEAT: Death by Rewind. Implementation: die, show own death, show animation, autoload hidden save, autosave hidden save every (roll 2d3) days.
-Truth detector (have red text "lie" appear above NPC dialogue)
-Mana reactor (regen mana faster, expend mana*2 per spell, spell rolls +2, spell damage*1.5)
-Magic prodigy (learn/master spells faster/easier including on your own, +5 INT/WIS at start)
-Martial Arts prodigy (start with Earth martial arts, ki infusion, +5 STR/END at start)
-No Fatigue (no sleep needed, infinite stamina, no rest for the mind either)
-Isekai knowledge (craft various items, including luxury stuff that doesn't exist, great for crafter/merchant)
-Medicine God (synthesize all medicines, learn magic medicine easily)
-Hero/Sage (hero/sage class from start)
-Rhapsody (Start with map scan spell x1 and meteor shower x3)
-Healer (op healing magic cheat)
-Arafoo (start with OP staff) (it talks?!)
-Gunota (can craft guns)
-Level up from eating/sleeping.
-Skill Steal on kill.
-Isekai Maou (start with good items, a blonde elf girl slave & a blackhaired nekogirl slave)
-Can have multiple classes (and accumulate their bonuses)
-Kami Neko (Start with godly kitten pet tamed)
-CHEAT: Max stats on lvl 2. (can fly, teleport, banish demons)

Jobs: (each different job is always held by an NPC (or the player (for unique jobs like King))
-Adventurer (_monster hunter_, ex. guard, escort, _gatherer_, _dungeoneer_) -> Adventurer Guild
-Magician (researcher, _royal mage_, enchanter (slave seal, magic items)) -> Magician Guild
-Merchant (caravaneer, peddler, general shop owner, banker, _slaver_) -> Merchant Guild, town market
-Crafter (shop owner, apprentice) (cloth seamster, leather tanner, wood carpenter, stone mason, metal smith, alchemy) -> Crafter Guild
-Public Service (guard, soldier, orphanage worker/director) -> Castle Keep, Guard House, Orphanage
-Noble (must receive title first, or impersonate via skill/magic) (Knight, Lord, Count, Baron, Duke, King) -> Castle, Mansion
-Servant (butler, cook, advisor) -> Castle, Mansion
-Farmer (animal raising, crop growing, cultivating stuff?) -> Villages, Houses
-Inn Tavern Keeper/Restaurant Owner (combines cook, butler, adventurer, merchant skills all in one) -> Empty Building
-Clergy (acolyte, priest, grand priest, pope) -> Church
-School (clerk, teacher, principal) -> School
-Architect? (last priority) -> Building
-Criminal (thief, _murderer_, bandit, black market slaver) -> Slums Building, Underground Network
---Special, Leadership. (guild clerk, village leader, town executive, bandit leader, pope, Noble, Guild Head)

Romance:
Works with Choices and points... Complexified with permanent multiplicators depending on Events (that happen maybe once/rarely). Also orientation compatibility and change. If homo female, that's a perma multiplicator like 0,02 that can disappear with special magic/potions/events.
Point system:
-100'001+ crazed murderer automatic
-10'001 to -100'000 mortal enemies.
-1001 to -10'000 hateful
-101 to -1000 bully/disgust/dislike/avoidance
-11 to -100 mild avoidance
-10 to 10 stranger
11 to 100 acquaintance
101 to 1000 friend
1001 to 10'000 close friend
10'0001 to 100'000 lover access enabled
100'001+ yandere automatic

Classes:
Melee combat, Ranged combat, Magic combat, combinations, holy stuff, summoner and tamer stuff.
Example: Sword combat. Select unlocked specific class, get specific sword style. Meaning one style makes wide attacks (180° around player front, low frequency, medium damage) another style makes stabs (stabbing attacks, fast, high damage). Although that kind of sucks. It's better if you can choose the type of attack, and you get a multiplier for proficiency depending on specific sword class.

Interaction with world:
1)picking up item (with hands/tools)
2)modifying terrain (cutting trees, digging mounds, breaking rocks)
3)stealing (picking locks)
4)placing evidence (corpses with items, corpses in basement...) *big cities have truth detection measures tho*
5)magic (growing stuff, attracting monsters...)
6)farming

Interaction with world structure: (last priority but epic)
1)Buying land
2)Installing items (tents/artifacts/stalls)
3)Installing buildings/walls/fences/gates
4)Setting route/road for NPCs
5)Magic (corrupting/blessing land)

Interaction with NPCs: Alternatively, activate stealth system for a bunch of these.
1)Talking
-Current events
-Greeting
-Confirmation (I'll take this quest/Agree to this)
-Negation (insult subtly/harshly, refuse, confront lie)
-Blackmail (needs specific events/items)
-Recruit (to party, to owned building)
-SPECIAL: I need specific item Come to my village Come live in my village

2)Trading
-buy/sell from shop items from inventory
-buy/sell properties/slaves
3)Stealing
-pickpocket
-threat under weapon
4)Romance
-flirt
-look away
-insult subtly
-compliment (choice, clothes, face, body, virtues...)
-gift (choose from inventory)
-intimate action (kiss, carress, touch, grope...)
-suggest... (come to my inn room lol)
5)Enslavement
-forcefully
-convince (takes specific events like blackmail or events against NPC)
-if player is enslaved because of heavy crimes (escape the law event), show slave collar being put, player being moved through AI, fade out roll credits
6)Magical actions
-forceful enslavement
-hypnosis
-body modification
-mind
7)Violence
-threaten
-hurt (can devolve quickly depending on personality*mood*power_difference*reputation*player_appearance)
-murder
-knock out
-imprisonment (conditions: job for player; actions/event for player)
-rape
8)Duel
-for honor
-for romance
-for events
9)Corruption (for information, favors)
-let me pass even if...
-don't lock up the store that night...
-tell me who's in there...
-tell me about...

Interaction with beasts/monsters:
-Combat
-Enslavement
-Rape (lol, both ways)
-Collect item (stealth or not)
-Tame (feed, magic, use item)
-Forcefully Ride (creature will roll dice for which mood it gets (sad/angry/berserk/calm...) personality*mood*power_difference*reputation*player_appearance
-Capture (for small or weak creatures that player has higher speed stat) (speed is related to DEX/STR/SP/mass_difference)

Monster Attacks:
-Guard/Soldier NPCs will rush to defend the city
-Roll dice for spotting monster waves
-Depending on time left, NPCs install traps, evacuate villagers...

Funerals: (important)
-Held in Church/Cemetery
-Graves have names/job/class of dead NPC.
-Resurrection holy magic must always be done within 1 day of death, and is only performed on highest ranking members of society (includes player under conditions).
Example: King assassination: you sneak to the king's bedroom and kill him. You hide the corpse in a hole after stripping away all locating items from the King. Guards run about. 2 days later they stumble randomly upon the hole, dig it up, hold a royal funeral, get the heir to wear the crown.
you don't strip the king's items, they find him quickly, revive him, if you woke him up at any moment, your face is now wanted. Unless you want to be executed, you have to move countries (still get mercs after you), become a hermit or magically/physically change face. Physically: get tons of scars, change hair color/get bald/unbald.

HP system:
Body part HP. When 0, body part's benefits disappear. When below 10 HP, benefits halves.
Abilities are programmed with body parts dependencies.
Regeneration depends on stats. Each body part regens independently. Fingers are grouped with wrist/ankle.
Heart/Brain/Carotid are independent body parts. If any reaches 0, death unless special item/condition/magic.

EXP system:
-Soul Exp
-Ability Exp
-Crafting Exp
-Sexual Exp
All giving different points for different types of skills. Healing is ability Exp, killing is soul Exp, shooting a fireball is ability Exp, making a torch is crafting Exp, kissing is sexual Exp...
-Soul Exp gives points for general, internal abilities and stat points. (+1 speed, +1 END, +mana regen%)
-Ability Exp gives points to enhance battle skills. (Sword skills+1, explosion radius+, magic wall size+...)
-Crafting Exp gives points to enhance crafting skills. (+chance to make high quality sword/staff/armor...)
-Sexual Exp gives points to enhance seduction and sexual skills. (get more romance points quicker)
Soul + Ability levels = Total level = Power level

Okay, if you read half of that, I applaud you. Tell me what you think too, if there are obvious flaws it's better to hammer them out now.

TL;DR so what's unique is the integrality of : a proper information system (actual lying possible, setting up scams, setting up a competitor for prison), a proper economy, a nice slave economy (and usable slave companions), a nice AI (ouch), a nice law&order system, capability of having diverse roles/jobs (from murderer, thief, commoner, merchant, noble, hero, king and God). True freedom, true immersion.
And that's what I want. Even a quarter of that well implemented would make a game next gen, I think. The next gen issue isn't about graphics anymore. We have good enough graphics.
(Before you tell me it's impossible to program all that alone, I know. Don't discourage my hobby.)

A dark-themed and well thought out RPG world.

Diablo 2 was one of my favorites back in the day. Divinity 2 was the best modern game of this type that I've played, but the first island was by far the best.

An ideal game? Honestly, there's none. Simply because every game has something different that makes it unique. I like the Xenoblade series for its amazing story and music, rogue-like dungeons for fast paced actions and fun synergies, DnD for all of the characters you can create, and also rhythm games. The thing is, you can't exactly roll all of those things into one. Sure you can make an RPG that lets you make a whole bunch of characters, and a rhythm based rogue-like. However, how would you go about putting a rogue-like into an RPG? Sure you can have a whole bunch of weapons, but most RPGs focus on class systems.

I'd say the ideal game would be a game that isn't a "game", but instead an AI capable of making whatever game you're currently in the mood for. After all, you're not always going to be in the mood for a game you like, even if it is the game you made exactly how you wanted.

So, DreamS from PlayStation?

My ideal game is an open world RPG taking place in the world of Avatar: Legend of Korra. The map is the steampunk Republic City, the hills around and the islands in the bay. Players got to pick from four option: fire, water or earthbenders or non-bender (who later on could learn airbending or chi-blocking as a special skill)
Then you make your character with full freehand and you got to decide your main carries-path: police, criminal, pro-bender, member of the anti-bender group, etc., all with own full and long storyline.
I prefer CD Project Red or Rockstar as a developer studio. Spread the word, let's make it happen.

Mmmmmmmm... I think a VRMMO with AI that is indistinguishable from actual humans would actually be pretty cool~
Like, I dunno, I think it would be really fun to log-in to a game and not do any quests, but just go to a random NPC's cafe and start chatting with other NPCs there and stuff.

(2) Make it hyper-realistic that it's almost like real life. No skill level, no character level, no HP and MP( 'MP' must be felt by the player themselves. If they don't know, sucks for them.), No HUD, No Mini Map, no skill cool down (like 3 seconds or so. But MP required is still there but it must be known to player how much they have reserves left without HUD, and no character class limit.

Skills are to be like 'real life' and free of 'nerf' (including player equipment) because it's supposed to like real-life (Quickscope will be nulled and may not work if a player attempt to do that stupid thing. If they did, it may cause a friendly fire). The thing there will be keep practicing until the form is almost pseudo perfect. Bad form = bad result. Good form = good result.

'Dungeon finder' and insta teleport on that place? No thanks. Travel is better than that.

No need for things that cause 'speed run' on clearing out dungeons and so on. If there'll be a bow and gun, this can only happen provided the player trained themselves in real life and in-game enough to pull that impressive feat.

That could have its appeal for some, but I dunno if that would be good game design.

All I'd care for is having some otherworldly friends to talk to, the rest would just be an added bonus~
