Just because a few people misuse it doesn't mean we should change the real definition. Gender Bender is and always has been an lgbt term. Abandoning it because a few people wrote some head-in-the-clouds fetish fuel or wish fulfillment is dumb.

‘a few’ is an understatement. Gender fucked has been apart of transgender ubrella for ages but genderbender has not and never will be, its not a gender identity.

The majority of the transgender storeys on here are about transwomen which that is not gender bending since the majority of binary trans people follow the gender roles of the gender they identify as to alleviate their dysphoria and take hormones if their dysphoria encompasses that. This is not gender bending and is not a form of disregarding gender roles, activism or a political statement. Their might be a few here and there in the trans binary community who take do take to that, but its a small part of the community.
