Does it sometimes take awhile for a Series to publish?

I published a story for a chapter. But I don't see it on my series profile.

New series or chapter?
If it's a new series, you have to wait for it to be approved...

For chapters, they are usually available to read instantly, but it could take a minute or two to actually appear on the 'latest updates' section of the site.

If it's a new story, it could take hours before approval, and thus, the appearance in the 'New Stories' section.

If it is a chapter, it could also take a few minutes.

If it is a new chapter but you rearranged it (for example, chapter 6 was released earlier than chapter 5, so you put chapter 5 under chapter 6), it cpuld appear somewhere in the new releases, but not the first page.
