Scorched alive, I’m dead
Left here, by Summer’s stead
It bakes me like oven bread
Now, I write poems with pencil lead

I write because of this degree
It’s slowly cooking me
Come closer and you will see,
This dying vampy

Frozen glaze, a dead gaze
Making me twist and twitch

We all can see

The Pub Shrink

“I'm standing at the brink again.
My head's a pounding wreck.
Observing all the rainbow swill
That bids me jump down for the thrill,
I sigh and pat my chest.

The blessed people who attain
Their dreams, desires, a fat cheque
Keep preaching about grand, good will,
Yet I scramble to get my fill.
What is there to invest?

Their dirty secrets I know well.
I'm part of a good few.
But if I even breathe a word,
My name will soon become unheard
As I become extinct.”

“Our breed of people can excell
As long as there's strong brew.
It keeps reality well blurred
And makes dull all that has occurred
In places indistinct.

Survival it is, nothing more.
Most people want to live.
Excuse some mild profanity,
What you call inhumanity
Is day in day out shit. ”

“Bet it's hard to mind the gore
While sipping fancy tiff.
I know that it is my ennui
That makes me bear your vanity,
My sense has long since quit.

And so I wait here at the brink
For one last final push.
That makes my mind join the abyss
Which promises both pain and bliss
More permanent than booze.”

"Cheers mate, have another drink.
Let's not be too depressed.
There is a time to reminisce
And then there's time to take a piss.
What do you have to lose?"

They run and run as fast as they can,
Sprinting away from Prince Azmiran.
He huffs in air through his nostrils,
Blowing fire at the evil apostles.

The demonic terrors tremble in terrible fear,
For the dragon lord has come here.
His wings are like mountains and gigantic,
The denizens of Hell grow into a panic.

"Bow down before the Light of Holy.
Sit and tremble, for you all know me."
The gulps echoed like a chorus from his words.
The fires in their hearts died like helpless birds.

And the flock did wait to see what he'd do.
Yet, there was only one who knew.
None of the demons who were marked with Sin.
It could only be one, it could only be Him.

Heart’s attack and kept awake

A bisection in the midsection
Intestines pierced, the pain severe
There's not a problem correction

Life’s gotta be some thorns
But where there’s a flower
A rose bloomed, the bush’s adorn
It’s an hour of colour

Life’s gotta be some grass
But it’s always green
A pasture beyond the mass
It’s a beautiful scene

Life’s a combination
A collection of sights
It’s a time of elation
No wrongs or rights

Mankind's faintest foe

The day in my belly,
I turn it around,
And it keeps on turning
As my throat is burning.
As strong thoughts abound
I turn on the telly.

The day shown by ray tubes
Is less colorful.
It sounds much too hollow,
much too light to swallow.
I munch my bowl awful
Beans with veggie cubes.

Its just like the day:
Too hard to digest.
Dry beans, burnt-dead vegs
My stomach will vex;
Worries unexpressed
Refuse to decay.

It's all I can do
To turn them all night
And push them outside.
For this is 'bout pride
Not being forthright.
I let it all stew.

My belly's a washer
So full it turns slow.
No wonder it aches when
't fuses all to ken
Mankind's faintest foe:
Self-pity its name

Spread your pain and darkness
Upon the dazzling maggots
Roar like a beast until you drown the maggots

You are scary as the headless knight
Stare hard enough at the fabric of night
Your eyes are black as the black abyss cat oh my fairy dark lady
Command me your glave guly beast
As i am blinded by your glory

Let the maggots go blind to your glory
As seeing is scary to the blind
Let them cough hags as we curse them
For the glory of the lady is pain

How loudly was beating the heart in my chest
The hopes and the dreams kept me up at the night
It's over. This love I shall put now to rest
I'll smile, I won't cry nor I'll sigh as I thought I might

"Goodbye", you have waved me then,
"Let's never see each other again"
"Goodbye", I answered, my chest was tight,
"We're strangers now. Don't be late to your flight"

Remember how we have met back then?
Me neither, friend, 'twas so long ago
But Sun was my witness many times when
I walked by your house, passing to and fro

The laughter we shared, the tears we spilled
The hearts we laid bare, I believe it still
The feelings we had, they were truly real
But nothing's forever, neither how we feel.

Tired. Humbled.
Pained. Befuddled.
What is peace?
Is it sleep?

Longing. Shaking.
Dry and quaking.
Eyebrows crease,
The climb is steep.

Finished. Parched.
Sickened. Starved.
Where is the road?
Where have I gone?

Puking. Sweating.
Shouting. Fretting.
The heavy load
Carries me on.

Restless slumber
Still I carry
Onwards till
The night is weary

Candles cry while
The eyelid flickers
A strong pen dances
With nary a whisper

Faith trudges strong
To seek me light

Unspeakable!
It's stupid, too
For, too obscene,

Unutterable,
just one good swing:
Hitting his nose,
the censored thing!


More dirty words
Won't change what's done:
Too many drinks
The brain do stun

Obscenities
Led to a brawl
I felt I won
But hit a wall

Panicking and standing up sweating
Manic depression's landing and fretting
This is the bedding, and it's the bedrock
It's the mental illness, loaded and cocked
Like a gun to your head that's rocked
Shell-shocked by PTSD bullets and blocked
Is the glock, locked onto your head again
Depression's the weapon with no medicine
Because you're in your head again
The darkness seeps in, and it says "let me in!"
But you just push it down and keep goin'
Even while your tears washed down the river
Flowin' and your head just goes in
Makin' you feel worse again, and you cannot sleep
But trust in a friend again, and you can see clearer
Just look in the mirror, and you're not alone
All those people around and in you're home
Even if not-well, you know 'em, hold 'em
And know hell together, when you need each other
Because when you're gone, there won't be another

Palpitations

My heart is beating in my chest
Blood`s rushing past my ears
I toss and turn and long for sleep
My agitation runs too deep
My courage disappears
As spirits are oppressed

If I had drink, then I could weep
Transcend the dirt, surpass all fear
Express myself and find new ground
Escape the shadows' fiercest hound
Make merry, hope, and persevere
Alas, vodka 's out and I am cheap

I hit the wall, my fist must pound
Against something that I can bear
Had I before just this wall used
Had I the inner voice refused
That nursed the bottles with such care
That of my wallet all was downed

I chuckle: two men's prides were bruised
One broke a nose and won a brawl
Now he fears for his life and home
The other now, his shadows roam
In every corner. On his call
All things are done, none are refused

I curse them all, the dog, the gnome
It's pointless, now, what's done is done
Can't undo it, what's due will come
No lessons learned, the dumb's still dumb
This isn't trouble to outrun
But close one's eyes and hum one "ohm"

It will be fine, indeed, my tomb

I trudge through thick muddy hallways
Still, I'm remorseful as I was always
The essence of this corridor gets thicker
My tender thoughts change and flicker
How long in this house did I feel bitter?
How long will it take my heart to wither?

I don't reconcile with these tormentions
The delusions of my mind leaks no absolution
The air weighs even heavier in my confusions
The thoughts are my mind's intrusions
Will there be no medicine or thoughts correction?
Will there be no exception to my mind's friction?

I didn't see any other way, so I ended the walk near a ledge
I looked down towards the faraway garden with a nice trimmed hedge
My heart beat profoundly while looking down below
My breaths were seen by my mind as they seeped beneath the crow
I didn't thank my life, for that'd meant I lied
But I can thank the open window for the last ride

This is a gift maybe a lie mostly observation but otherwise lost,
The old ones have some knowledge laying about life withering away alone,
Until young energetic curious kids loves to extort them in questions,
Ignore rambles but listen carefully to what one can learn and benefit from.

Be it closing ones eyes in times of painful physically and even emotionally,
Or be patient with everyones temper and understand they are human,
Be careful about those of snakes tongue as intentionally cause sow,
They too have something in them only if theirs are opened by your kind action.

In truth thats how I feel so don't trust my judgement eye,
More of a nobody stranger that likes to come and go,
Not all is permanent except knowledge, gift and prayers,
However meaning itself will only be uncover somewhere,

Intending harm unintionally for I request forgiveness in tears,
But if it helps someone in the future that is fine by itself~
Drinking water eating bread having no care for disease and bless,
A last breath knowing I did my best looking forward to heaven!

Near precipice high up,
Leaned against the only ancient tree,
Noise of rustle and eagles call,
Sat with legs straight out,
There it was stretched flatland.

Hands rest out to the side,
Eyes lazily bout to shut,
A cool breeze of fresh air,
Aura of unseen is felt,
Calm of day & night interchange.

Growed from beginning,
Sweat poured in tears,
Yellow leaf likes to cling beneath,
Shivered slightly and it moves past,
Still in the same area unmoving.

Opened glimpse as it was filled it thunder,
Closed to hear river flowing calmly,
Reflected purple yellow blue sky slowly,
Stars shone brightly following impact,
Silent drool with a face of peaceful smug.

I leave the bottle, and I stand
Outside -- I feel so spent
As both my feet touch sand.

Hurrah, the waves I d' best!
Yippee, so light 's my chest
That e'n old heaven I would crest
If only I 'd the zest

No, I -- no matter the boon --
know that -- and all too soon --
I'll fall. I'm a baboon.
I am, though not a poon:

I'm rough, not polished smooth.
I'm cultured, but when I move
All walls go poof!
I'm on your roof.

Damned Drunkard

Alcohol is no solution, so sayeth
The robed man, who, to gold trinkets, prayeth;
"You shall find no salvation," so curseth
The loyal serf of bandits, "forsooth!"

Why imbibe this poison, scoldeth
The slayer of millions, Lord Death;
He feels no sorrow. Skin smooth,
With nails polished, he smiteth.

In men's suffering delighteth
The sober calculator. Uncouth
Is the drunkard. Great dole hath
His hot heart. Foul smells his breath.
