Resolved Error Establishing a Database Connection

Update on continuously resetting until either an admin shows up and addresses the issue or the issue is fixed
It's gone from bad gateway to
"Your server is running PHP version 5.5.38"

Something like that can just be a matter of waiting for the service to come back up. This kind of thing usually just takes some patience to wait for things to boot up all the way. If something was rolled back to an older version, that'll take some hands-on patching.

or wordpress took an update and PHP needs patching

I've had some showdowns with a WordPress server... When they work they can be great! When they don't.... The headache is massive...

2nd thread for this issue. It seems to be an issue serverside - meaning likely not Tony, but the people he rents server space from.

my bad. I didn't see it until now. The other was likely moved, but it was marked as resolved, either way.

edit: Also, the one I'm referring to was posted july 1st, 2023. which I didn't see until just now. But yeah, that one was revived for this issue, apparently.

Yeah, this issue already happened once, took some time to fix it but it didn't take THIS long, maybe Tony is sleeping or the people that fix it are preocupied
