Just to check, what's the definition of a folktale used for this? Does it also cover mythological stories like the material from the Edda's, or other myths and legends like that?

Yes, those are fine~! We already have someone who's reserved "St. George and the Dragon", for example, and another person who's reserved one of Aesop's Fables.

(I'm going with the broadest definition of these as possible in order to let people have a lot of variety to choose from.)

"Snow White" has been un-reserved by me in favour of "Petrosinella" (Rapunzel) so, if anyone desperately wanted to write a version of that, you can reserve it for yourself now~!

There are still 3 weeks and 4 days until reservations for Sappho's Spinning Wheel are closed~!

Until the 28th of November (GMT), you can reserve a tale to adapt for the anthology or change your current reservation. Those who choose to change their reservation will still get 6 weeks to work on their new reservation.

After the 28th, there will be no more chances to secure your place~!

To anyone who wants to take part in the current Yuri Garden Anthology, Sappho's Spinning Wheel, there's one week remaining to make your reservation.
After midnight on the 28th of November (GMT), no new reservations will be accepted.

Fully completed and edited stories can still be submitted for unreserved tales up until the final reserved tale is submitted.

For more information, see the information post here: https://forum.novelupdates.com/blog...ri-garden-collaborative-anthology-event.3927/

I'm really glad the reservations don't end until Nanowrimo is almost over, because I would have been screwed otherwise lol

Reservations for Sappho's Spinning Wheel have now closed.

Anyone who wishes to participate in the anthology without a reservation is advised to submit their story ASAP, as it will stop accepting submissions as soon as the last reservation is cancelled or fulfilled.

For those without a reservation, only final drafts can be submitted.

To keep an eye on the progress of the reservations, watch the Reservation List at the top of this post: https://forum.novelupdates.com/blog...ri-garden-collaborative-anthology-event.3927/

Thank you to everyone who participated in the anthology~! The final reservation has now been submitted, so submissions are officially closed.

The anthology itself will begin publishing this Friday.
