yes and no, honestly. gameplay-wise, well it depends. having played the better of the two, it might feel like a little bit of a letdown. It hasnt aged as well as New Vegas has and the structuring of things is poorer compared to NV.I made a mistake starting with New Vegas, haven't I?

Storywise, DLCs are key because the original ending is kinda.... meh and the real storytelling, befitting a fallout game, is concentrated in some of the DLCs.
