Writing Prompt Fever Dream

So I had a bout of severe vertigo recently and experienced this fever dream.
I thought— this could do for a start of a story, but I'm currently already writing one. If anyone wants to take inspiration from this, you're more than welcome to.
It starts like this...

I was in a small room, much like a hospital room(Both in the dream and in reality, but only up to this part.), asleep on the bed. It was a room a few stories up.
I opened my eyes to a blue sky past the window glass.
I blinked and my consciousness skipped a few minutes, hours, I can't say— but the next time I opened my eyes...
Someone— something was staring back at me from beyond the glass.
A monster? An Alien? It was almost humanoid. I could hear it knocking on the glass.
What should I do? I tried to move but I couldn't do anything.
So I slept it off.
The next thing I knew, I was woken up by people intruding on my humble room. The gall these people have.
They wielded make-shift weapons from everyday items.
One of them approached and told me the world was going through a phase and warned me, tried to ask me to come along.
The others were hesitant. The look on their faces told me so. Why?
Was it because I was wearing a straitjacket?

Some other stuff happened after this, but it's all a blur.

I liked it, particularly the plot twist, but I think that was it. That's the story. The entire thing has been told. You could flesh it out, but pretty much, you just told an entire story from beginning to end.

Well, it could be continued as an apocalypse story, with the MC struggling to determine what is real and what is not.

You did say we can take inspiration from it, but I'm just saying, if I was to take inspiration from it, I wouldn't know where to take it other than just retelling this story. I truly feel this is complete as it is, it just needs to be broadened.

I had my character hallucinating while he was trying to refine penicillin. This was caused by sepsis though.

The dream was that I have power to detach my balls.
Only I have this power
Naturally, I was quite fond of it, I used to detach them quite often.
One day, they didn't reattach
I was worried my mother would scold me
In panic, I ate them
They grew back, but now I can't detach them
