If you had even a tiny bit of context, you might understand why your post is such a joke.
There is no context. They want unfettered sex with as many people as they like with no moral obligation to commit anything to them except on their own terms, which is an amusing farce of an idea of "commitment".

And don't bother arguing... I'm just gonna Ignore you preemptively, so you'll be wasting your time.
If you were going to ignore me before I replied, then your entire post was "such a joke", as you say. You probably shouldn't have commented at all. But sure, ignore me. I'm sure there's some context as to why you'll ignore me too huh? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Half of the OP post was about sex.
I’m pointing out sexuality should be kept out of schools, but I guess you weren’t following the conversation.
Meh, as long as it's high school I think it's fine. Pretending high schoolers don't have sex is silly. We're not talking erotica here, but fiction that happens to have it as a result of relationships in it.

I think there's works that can deal with it properly and even teach them what to guard against irl. Being able to realize your getting screwed by a gold digger woulda been nice. But my school was in the south and they just handed out wwjd promise rings. All we did with them rubber rings was shoot em at each other.

More like it shouldn’t be in the curriculum. I could care less if a student asks a teacher for sex advice or if there are after school clubs, it simply shouldn’t something forced where they have to answer a test questions about it.

I’m not advocating book banning, just curriculum banning. Focus on math, science and vocational skills so they can actually get a productive job, not sexual fiction.

In case you want to disagree again, I could care less if they want it as part of a private school curriculum, it’s just unfair to be using tax payer money to fund a public school and teach people things that are more based on culture and theory than actual measurable fact.

actual measurable fact.
Sex ed exists in schools to prevent early pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, and a host of other 'measurable' phenomena. The fact that a ton of information is deliberately excluded because of stupid things like politics or shyness is literally unforgivable.
It's the same as not teaching kids how taxes work, or how to drive, or not to drink bleach. It's practical knowledge, maybe more so than any other subject. Because it's always there.

That said, it's also not the topic. Try a private conversation, or start a new thread. Though it'll probably get locked, so maybe just stick to the private conversation.

My goodness people are so touchy about this subject -_-.
This isn't about sex ed.
It's like once you mention sex everyone gets all twisted out of sorts.

How did this go from banning sexual fiction from school curriculum to biological sexual education?

Seriously. Assumptions, stop it.
And in case you don’t understand, this is the difference between requiring people to read NTR hentai versus reading a biology book that explains how pregnancy works.

One is factual and generally the same for everyone, one is simply based on preference as enjoyable or unenjoyable fiction.

The OP itself was about how fiction enhances reality, then talked about sex in fiction being the only situation in which it there might be some need to discuss what was appropriate and inappropriate for children, so the statement about sexual fiction being out of school curriculum and left to the parents makes sense.

Has nothing to do with biology or sex education which is factual.

I feel like posting my opinions in this thread will give my novel a mysterious influx of 1-star ratings. Maybe that's why a certain other author with a kink for such things has posted here. :blob_salute:

Staying away from the volatile part of all this, both things are true depending on the person or situation. Two people can read the same thing and get completely different inspirations or meanings from it. So the reader is affecting the original creation of the author within themselves. At the same time, if the reader hadn't experienced the creation, then the inspiration wouldn't have happened at all.

Then of course there's the basic answer, I wonder how long this thread will stay up?:blob_hide:

As long as there is good input like this and people don’t make assumptions it won’t be an issue.

mods lock threads when the arguing gets pointless

Of course I disagree. You haven't presented any arguments against it. You're just stonewalling like them creationists.

And like I said, it ain't gotta be explicit, but it's a part of every romantic relationship. The payout, and even part of the work in keeping a healthy relationship going into old age. To toss it out is like tossing always payrates for Blue collar careers and just telling kids to go to college to get the best pay. That no college AC repair man gets paid more than a nurse or teacher ya know.

Guess we gotta toss out Shakespeare cause all his stuff has sex and violence.

NTR hentai
Why on earth would that need to be said? Nobody put it there in the first place. Why would you need to ban it? This is such a bizarre statement. It's like saying dinosaurs should be hunted to extinction? Why would anyone assume you were arguing about that, especially when you tack it onto the end of an argument about whether being gay is biological or not??? Maybe try quoting the thing you're actually talking about?

I guess the main problem with banning erotic works in schools is where to draw the line. Do you ban Shakespeare like the above person said? Dune? YA novels? There's definitely a lot of 'classics' that probably shouldn't be in a school if you're feeling shy. Some of those older classics have been banned, lol. Usually for racism or such rather than sexual content though. Like Mice and Men and To Kill a Mockingbird.

I know that as kids everybody hated required reading. Banning it entirely would make for some happy days. But with older people constantly trying to get kids to read, there's no way that would happen. Even if they have to show off some dead guy's wet dream to do it.

I actually wonder how much difference there would be between kids who read 'normal' stories versus those who read heavily sanitized stories. Obviously reading porn isn't acceptable though...

It was an example of what I meant versus what you thought I meant when I was talking about banning it from school curriculum.

Again, my stance was that it is fine for the school to carry the books in the library. I never wanted it banned from libraries. What I want was for it to be banned from required curriculum.

I may concede that perhaps an 'elective' class on world literature is fine, but I'm against it being required reading.

There is a lot of nuance to what I've stated, so I guess I shouldn't blame you for not understanding what I meant.
