Heya there.
Been writing here for a while and since my first work Dicera feels successful and not successful at the same time, I feel like I have a lot to learn as well as new ideas forming.

So I wrote another work which is titled Dicera 2.
This is a reboot of sorts but can be treated as another story or book 2.
Currently at 2 chapters (except the announcement chapter)

For reference Dicera
For reference Dicera 2.

And as my staple in writing stories, glossary must be used.

A lot of times.

As someone who loves numbers and litrpg plus expanding plot, I tend to use it a lot.

That said, I am simply curious. Do readers even check the glossary everytime? Or should I also put explanations at the end of chapters instead of informing the readers that I added new entries at the glossary?

Please do enlighten me and share your ways of sharing infos I might learn something new and apply it to my work.

When Vertis goes onto a story, Vertis checks the glossaries.
Vertis does not know if a majority checks the glossaries. Sooo it would be better to add a disclaimer.

In terms of writing, Vertis uses glossaries differently from others.

That's fair and good to know that Vertis checks the glossary.

Only under duress. They're harmless, though. Unlike prologues with no action or plot-stuff.

On a related note, author's sorry-I'm-posting-late notes and other drama should be postpended to new chapters, rather than at the top.

That is very understandable XD.

P.s. never thought readers are harmless XD pretty sure they are rabid creatures willing to donate their blood and sweat just to read new chapters

On a side note, I think you might be making a mistake by splitting your story into two separate novels.

I gave them a quick look out of curiosity, and saw that they are somewhat standalone, so I see 'why' you might do that.

That being said, if they're still connected; lore, cameos, etc, I'd keep them as one novel. Without more updates, the original won't get nearly as much attention, and without a bigger reader base/number of ratings, the new one won't pull in the same attraction that a larger story can.

You don't have to, of course, this is just a suggestion. But with the bunch of stories I've uploaded, I've found that keeping a series together on this site seems more effective at getting it seen by the readers.

That's actually a point I might have missed. It's as you said, my stories can stand alone but compared to my first one, the latest seems struggling to gather views but it's acceptable for now I guess considering it's just a day since I uploaded them.

That said, thanks for your insight. I appreciate it.
I make extensive use of the glossary feature here. I dont think most people do.
Yes I did realize that after the comments above mentioned it which is kind of sad that it is overlooked or not noticed
