Some of them suck at the game so much, so they just watch really good players make plays.

NTR is essentially sour grapes in reverse but in sex.

The idea is not so much on not being able to fuck a girl good, but the idea that the bud you can't have blooms the most beautiful, as deflowered as she may be. At least that's part of the appeal to my understanding.

The notion that you're gonna experience ultimate pleasure if you manage to get your hands on her also coincides with the ego of getting back what (may or may not be rightfully) is taken away from you. NTR hinges on that "ywn" aspect of the woman to succeed. EVEN if you manage to fuck her, they'd pull some psychological shit like she's never satisfied, or that she's utterly broken and never to be put back like Humpty Dumpty, prolonging the allure of grapes on a vein you can never jump high enough to get a taste of.

Honestly to me, all NTR is the same.
The 'Hero' 'Dick Smallwood' can't satisfy his girl/is always at work/ can't find the guts to confess to the girl he likes.
The 'Villain' 'Barry McCockiner' uses 'Porno Logic' to well... make true on his name I guess.
The 'Heroine' 'Anita Cox' gets corrupted by Chad's overwhelming manliness and amazing personality.
And the Hero either gets heartbroken when he finds out (if he finds out), and starts to like it when he finds out.
Paste and Repeat. And also, change the names please, those are just placeholders.
Also bonus points to Korea for making NTR even more soul-crushing for its fans, it's a dirty job, but somebody got to do it.
