After using my tablet and experimenting with various software for roughly a week, here are the results. I'll post the characters from my novel like most authors who do art.

Kane (Adobe Photoshop CS5)

This is my first ever finished digital art after getting the tablet. As you can see, the lines are really thick and sloppy because I wasn't able to control my strokes yet. The body proportion and coloring could be better.

Liana (Krita)

I kinda regret making this piece. I shouldn't have drawn this with line art style, but I had gone too far before I realized that lmao. Also, I still didn't know how to do lines consistently.

Xervatia (Medibang Pro)

I've learned my lessons now. Doing line art here was easier than previous software thanks to the correction feature. It's not exactly finished, but I don't feel like adding more.

Thank you everyone who gave me advice! It's really helpful. Although, I have still a long way to go...

I like all of them in their own ways.

Keep up the good work!

Honestly, I would disagree with this.
To me, this is the best one out of the three.

It might be because I like the style, but the additional lines add character and depth to the illustration.
I think, the other two look more "flat" and uninteresting...
It's not that I dislike it. Cleaning the hair strands was so painful; I could've done it differently. I'm glad you liked it though.
As for the other two, they were meant to be flat and less detailed. I wanted the style to be close to most anime or webtoon.
Xervatia is definitely my favorite.
Liana is my favorite!

Amy Firstwing from Counter:Side

(Forever WIP because when I tried coloring it, the color became weird. Not going to use Clip Studio for now...)

Ooh, I like the way you made them look like they were spinning, even if the picture isn't actually moving.

Gonna restore my abandoned art thread to post artwork here. I will also redraw some of my old stuff

Old:
Kane (Adobe Photoshop CS5)

This is my first ever finished digital art after getting the tablet. As you can see, the lines are really thick and sloppy because I wasn't able to control my strokes yet. The body proportion and coloring could be better.
2024:

Next up is Liana
