How can I use the quote functionality?

While reading some novels in SH, I have noticed that I can quote sentences. However I do not know how does that work?

Can I retrieve these sentences that I have already quoted?

For a moment I thought of it as a different Feature.

I sometimes love how some sentences structured or written. In that case I thought quoting is saving them somewhere for me.
