So, my parents want to sell our house, I thought I was fine with it... but I have this kind of feeling... like uncomfortable notion... it's really hard to explain...

A LOT of attachment. I'd be super upset if my parents sold their house

Well, I live in a super duper small apartment that I barely pay the rent of, so... I don't really care much for it tbh, I'll switch as soon as my finances get better.

I felt pretty sad when my Grandmother's house was sold. I lived there for a few years and it was always the site of family gatherings during celebrations and the holidays. It was like entrusting a precious piece of our family history to others. The house had many other nice features, for example there was an apple tree that everyone would pick from each year and make apple pies.

I still have dreams about being at that house, but sometimes the dreams are a bit weird because it feels like I am not supposed to be there: it's as if I was trespassing (since it's no longer our family property).
