Just to add on. Can we have option to pay in other currency apart from dollar. Many may not have PayPal as its not very popular in their country and conversion and transfer fee can be quite high

That depends on the platform. Recently Patreon added a function where you can pay in your currency when the owner of a page enables it, but I don't know how much is the conversion rate is since it definitely is not gone. PayPal is the best way to use the currency you want, and the recipient can exchange it later. It's not hard to set up. It's not popular at my place, because there are local equivalents, but I still use 2 accounts, private and business.
