How to delete stories

I just wanted to know how do I delete my stories? I know that I have to press the delete button so when I do, and it asks for me to put my series title in, I put the title of my story. But every time, it says my title is wrong. Am I supposed to put the title of my story or something else?

You have to put in the title of the book you are deleting. And it has to be an exact match.

It is best to just copy the title and paste it into the box, especially if your title has apostraphes.

While I do think it should be changed to a single fixed phrase, this "type a phrase to confirm deletion" method is very effective at preventing accidental deletion.

Why

Some people might not think their novel is good anymore, and want it gone.
alternatively, they might have a contract that prohibits having their novel in places that aren't their site

Unless THAT platform has an exclusivity rule, yes. I have two stories both here and on Royal Road, and two on PocketFM.
