How to write faster?

The Simplist answer I can give you is to practice and get good. That's the only consistent way of getting faster at writing that I know of.

I started making my first light novel and the max words I can reach for a chapter is 1000, how can I write faster?

Answer is obviously practise.

But, if you wanted another answer, it's a keyboard that you can type good with and that suits you well

Mechnical PC keyboards make me type extremely slow and with so much more mistakes compared to Apple's Macbook keyboards, which require a simple light tap in compared to PC keyboards.

So if I wrote my stories using a mechanical keyboard, I'd be extremely slower than compared to if I had my macbook.

Although I never thought of it that way, I've always wrote using my Macbook, perhaps, I got used to it with practise and my hands refuse to type on mechnical keyboard, who knows.
