I would say by keeping your busy hands typing on that keyboard. Or, if you must, write it in a public place like a coffee lounge. :blob_sir:

That would keep your "distraction" at bay until the story has been completed. :blob_wink:

Ooooh okay I can help with this ahem

Mood- what literotica are you going for sweet or Hardcore I don't think y'all are that experienced in the devils tango so focus on stimuli, make the reader want to be the one getting laid, savage shallows is great for study, I cannot link any of the stuff I've read or seen or done for obvious reasons...

Also most people relate to recievers it's not easy writing as a giver and do research ie shaved people are more sensitive to touch or different positions riding is always fun.

But the most fun is in the foreplay

jerk off before you do. But that brings down the level of ero you can produce. If you dont feel the need to jerk it while writing then the passion simply isnt there. You just need to endure it, only way to bring out your best work. Also if you ever need reference material i made a thread long ago that has links to a lot of ero scenes in dozens of novels. If you want a look all you gotta do is ask.

To write really good erotica, you need to write the characters' reactions and feelings toward the actions. It can't just be, He did this thing. "Ohh yes!" she cried. Then he did this other thing. "More!"

That's the most boring stuff. You need to be descriptive and write about sensations that highlight the act the characters are doing, and you need to show the emotions they're going through like anticipation, shame, nervousness, eagerness, etc.

I would write examples, but I'm afraid of making it too racy for scribble forums. :blobrofl: If you want really good examples, search "PWP" on archiveofourown.org (and use the male/female pairing only filter if you need to). Set it to show highest kudos (likes) count first. AO3 has the highest standard that I've seen online; the writing on other sites like literotica dot com tends to be really basic and kinda... just like a written transcript of a porn vid plot lol. Though to be fair, I didn't delve too deep into that site.

ero isn't really just some carnal stuff to me.

when i think of it as something healing on spiritual level and made me appreciate life again, i think i can write something.

it isn't really a rocket science, just a part of writing. might be a subset of romance so you prolly wanna write some more of that as well.

but ye, what's most important about it (at least to me) is your fetish. if you have something you really, really want to see or experience, even if it's weird af and shameful, just write it all down. don't think about people judging you for being a deviant. just let it all out. the more honest you can be with your own kinks, the better.

well that's about it. i don't do lewds that much but i'm just sharing from the lil' bit of experience i have :D /

Read a LOT of Erotica. Find out what kinds you like and which ones you dislike. Then, figure out what exactly you like about certain ones, and what you dislike about others. This forms the baseline for your writing style and content. Alternatively, just write and see what makes your heart race and do it the self-exploration way.

Main thing I tend to find is that any good erotic stuff has characters and relationship. Not just sexy things.

What everyone else said.

If you're not feeling the urge to jerk one off while you're writing it, then you should probably up the spiciness level.

Tip: Your diction/word choice can really make these scenes more sensual or not, and you should adjust it according to your writing needs.

Also, there's no shame in jerking one off when you need to; you don't want to be getting blue balls. Unless you're a girl, then you don't have to worry about that particular physiological phenomenon. :blobrofl:

While you're writing, put a vibrator inside and you shouldn't need to fap.

Oh you're asking how to avoid wanting to fap?

You can visualize the scene down to the smallest detail. And once you get in the zone, the feeling to fap disappears. You will instead channel the visuals into your writing. If typing is too slow, use pen and paper.

Simple. Just leave your room door open while writing. This way, you'll be forced to endure because anyone who walk by can easily see you, and you'll want to avoid being seen so you ended up not doing it with the power of shame. Plus you can also channel all that nervousness into your writing.
It may not work if you are staying alone or if you are the type that don't care if people watch you.

Like a few laughs along side your erotic lit? Check out my new kinky comedy of horrors!

A librarian embarks on a risqué adventure to break a painful ejaculation curse placed on him by a succubus ex-lover.
