Fun fact- in Hong Kong, there's actually an ancient Chinese law, still in force to this day, which explicitly permits a wife to kill her husband if she finds him cheating, provided she does so with her bare hands (with this law also half-jokingly cited as the real reason why Hong Kong's arguably the martial arts capital of the world).
As such, this prompt/challenge is to write a story/one-shot where a character gets caught in the act of cheating on his/her spouse, in a world/place where they also have this law. With the option of keeping said law as it is in real life in Hong Kong, having the genders reversed, or applying equally to both genders. Have fun...
