Light Novel Recommendations

Hi I'm looking for a good light novel series to pick up, those Japanese ones like Shield Hero. Embarrassingly, I have never read one of the light novels, so I would like to try them, as long as they are suitable for anyone under 18. Thanks in advance.

How about Shield Hero itself? Since you said you've never read any one of those.

For me, I just pick whichever anime I loved, and if a novel of it is available, I pick it up.

1. Arifureta Shokugyō de Sekai Saikyō
2. Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!
3. Potion-danomi de Ikinobimasu!
4. Isekai ni Tensei Shitandakedo Ore, Tensai tte Kanchigai Saretenai?
5. Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?
6. Hachinan tte, Sore wa Nai Deshou!

These are ones of the few things I can recommend if one wants to start reading web novel and light novels.

Thanks ya'll. I will definitely try "Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?", since I heard good things about it. Same for Shield Hero. Not sure about Mushoku Tensei, since I heard some pretty ecchi rumours about it. Also I'll try out Ascendance of A Bookworm, since my friend talks highly of it.

-Personally, I'd steer clear of Arifureta. It started out really strong but disappointingly devolves into nonsensical collection of women and banter between them about how much they want the MC's D.

ooohh, it's been awhile since I've checked the translations update. The last time I checked was literally when they just started to translate. I'm satisfied reading the manga of this though.

I have the epub for the entire volumes of Sevens, but I never really get around to reading it.
Legendary moonlight sculptor is like the Mushoku Tensei of Korea. The one that started the wave.
As for SCG, I don't think it's suitable for "easing into" the genre, lol. It's great though, but better start with the others first.
